Every time I try to start the game it crashes and tries to send an error report. Any idea what is happening?

Did you buy the new dlc by any chance? If so it’s because they delayed the core update which also contained the pre-dlc update that actually makes the dlc compatible. Because of this update none existing and you having the dlc installed, the game flops because it can’t process the information without the update. you need to uninstall the new dlc if you want it to work again
