PlayStation Ps5 Screenshot Upload To Dtg Profile

On PS5 taking a screenshot works but always fails on upload to DTG.

 

Are you connected to the internet and signed into dovetail live on your console?

 

Yes and yes

 

And it gives you the upload failed message?

 

Yep....takes pic, tries to upload then fails with "upload failed"

 

Is this on all routes or just one specific one?

 

So far tried 4

 

Will try more when back at Console

 

And finally: when did this start

 

Since I upgraded last week to PS5 version.....started as soon as upgraded.

 

There are others with same issue a couple on here and on FB page.

 

It has indeed been broken on the PS5 version since release. A few of us have posted this elsewhere in Tech Reports section

 

The same thing has been happening to me since I switched to the Ps5 version. The capture is done correctly, but it doesn't transfer to Dovetail Live.
I have tried multiple times and in all routes and the result is always the same.

 

Yeah, same, also on PS5 version. I don't think it's talking to Dovetail Live properly - DTL seems to be the source of quite a few glitches.

 

Is it working on ps4 version? If it's only ps5 version it might be DTL has some kind of access permission gate to which the ps5 has not yet been added.

 

They mentioned somewhere that DTL was causing the game-exit crashes on PC too, so I suspect DTL's issues run deep. Back in the early Mastery failure days they said there was a separate team doing the web side of things; there's obviously still a skills gap, either in coding or communication!
