These are the ones I’ve been waiting for too. I have been checking the store every few days as I was expecting a sale but hadn’t seen it yet. I should imagine I’ll only be downloading the TSW2 versions to start with due to, well we all know why.
The Class 484 being on sale is very exciting, was waiting for that one! I should be able to squeeze this one in, with the Island Line being such a small route. (Also, can someone tell me if Luzern-Sursee is functioning alright? I’m hoping to get it as well, but I’m not sure how the quality is at the moment)
FWIW New sales always start on a Wednesday on PSN, and more often than not the prices go live at 1am, occasionally a couple of hours later Edit: Except for the weekend flash sales that start at the weekend, obviously
I´ve got it on PS4 in TSW2. And I love the route. It´s running quite flawless. But be careful because I think the route in TSW3 has a red light issue on some services. Not sure if this has been fixed already. I freaking love short routes. Though hearing about red light issues is kinda concerning. Nothing worse than wasting a bunch of time just to get an eternal red light.
Luzern Sursee is broken at the moment. A lot of the services from Sursee to Luzern suffer from a red light bug. Rivet have acknowledged it, but haven't given a date for a fix. It's working fine in TSW2.
Luzern-Sursee was the last route I didn‘t have yet, so I jumped at it for this price! My first impression is mixed. The train is fun to drive, but the ETCS seems a bit odd coming down from higher speeds and some scenery detail pops in very late (on PS4 at least). All in all happy to have it for the discounted price.
The curse of Game Pass, get the £40 base game for ‘free’ but then pay £360 more than PlayStation to get all the DLC.
Hey guys, Question to those who already own Class 484 and new IoW: in terms of distances between stations on IoW - what is the average distance between stations on IoW? More than 1.5 mile or (much) less?
Hmmm, difficult to say! There definitely aren’t too many stations, I believe the distance should always be above 1-2km in the countryside outside Ryde. I suggest watching a video of a full service, you’ll see the distance to the next station in the HUD.
