I saw that MSB and RT were getting departure boards, will this be implemented into LIRR? If so, I would love to see the displays on the EMUs showing the next stop. If anyone could share info about this I would appreciate it, couldn't tell whether or not any of this was being considered. Thanks.
There are no plans for displays on the LIRR trains at the moment. The platform display boards have been implemented on newer routes, so are being 'back-ported' to older routes (including LIRR). Implementing displays to the M7 itself would require a new solution to be developed which isn't being looked into at the present time. Info taken from a previous roadmap stream.
