Hola, entusiastas del ferrocarril! Good afternoon everyone! Today I'll return to the Iberian Peninsula for the third time, wanting to suggest you something unique! Something... Catalan! Yes, it would be a complex, articulated urban/suburban network, involving those Barcelona's iconic "Rodalies"! Welcome to the southern coast of Spain, where the Mediterranean touches that rugged Sierra Collserola and local plains, settings of the famed metropolis. This idea would include the Sants-França-Fabra i Puig/Sant Andreu urban "spine", plus two extensions to Castelldefels(+airport link) & Badalona. It would be set in 2024. Here you'll test yourself on one of Spain's largest and busiest networks, straight at its beating heart; covering a wide range of suburban and regional services of the Catalan area! Climb aboard the iconic local units, pushing your capabilities (and network's) to the limit! Think you're up to it? Bring it on I can probably see them do this one do this first LGV Perpignan Barcelone 180km 110 mi for the abbreviation CLR C is Catalonia then LR is Languedoc-Roussillon. This would actually see the following Rolling Stock TGV Duplex renfe S252 S105/106 S100s. Looking at your proposal you are more likely see this one the broad gauge version of S252
Totally agree with you! Making The international LAV to Perpignan would be awesome! I'll correct you: IC Talgo stock only travel west by now, Barcelona->Valencia->Alicante->Murcia/Cartagena. Even extending R1 to Figueres/Portbou would be enough, with its stunning coastal path!
