Liveries Rail 200. Preparations And Ideas For September.

Yes I feel we could with some of that. Again this is a rail forum and so if you two know then again I’m happy with that.
If it’s your skill sets then as a leader I will utilise them.

I don’t have that skill set so cannot add that to any of my threads. Yet that’s what people want to see or discuss.
Again I could never be able to provide that and if again gives you both freedom then as I say I will be happy to discuss further so we’re ain’t setting ourselves up for a fall.

Some of our Road map could be dictated by user interaction or lack of. Why my work is delayed now on the 390s.
They could be out tomorrow if I had the information today. Without that then it delays me so would have some knock on effect with Road Maps. From my perspective and standpoint I feel the nature of my work and users engagement has and will effect a time scale.

The only solution I’d have for effects of lack of user engagement is to get the 390s out the way and never ask the community again to be part of one of my liveries. That’s all I can do to ease any longer delays out of my control.

Yes I’d fully agree to that. Presentation is key to everything.

At least you're still releasing the 390 though. I'll be changing into my admin uniform to get that sorted for you when it's out lol

The roadmaps will also help us as a team to navigate how we go about liveries and what each of us are making to serve as a guide for our own content.

 

Again I never took a hardline, IE add structure as I felt each member could structure work around personal life.
Having discussions is good but as I have said in the past if we can identify an issue and then come up with a solution then that’s faster than discussion over several hours. My past experiences of if I see a problem then find a solution to offer.
Hence having a strong Team is important to adding pressure to a project by constantly. Each member of a team must be able to man manage and work around any obstacle they come across.

By this is why we have staff, One person can’t do it all so they have a Team or Staff. Each Team member is responsible for each given task based on that person’s individual skill set or knowledge of Rail.
This is what I was wanting to do so played around with the idea publicly. The Sunday. Trying to stimulate the thread after our meeting.
Action from me, but enough of that.

I honestly feel as an individual I need help or staff lol. I can’t sub work out if no one is willing to help due to the complexities of the work I do tho. So again I want to build a strong team with each individual skill set to try involve others that can assist others or each other.
It’s to get work out and to a high accuracy to the real thing.

My skill set is making liveries that’s all. That’s all I feel I can offer as member of this Team. Meaning for the Team to be stronger I’d need those with the knowledge and ability to be involved with a possible future Team.

It’s all an idea at the moment that’s all. I can test the water to see and go off that.

So I am.
It’s why I approached TG08 with my original idea of what we have now. He has fantastic knowledge and is good at presentation.
I needed him and I needed you the same as you may of needed me.

To be part of a successful Team based on each individual skill sets.
Because a thought makes an idea, it’s taking an idea and making it work to takes a lot of thought.
Hence the thoughts of others and their skills in what makes an idea a successful one.

A Good Solid Team.

And so have a play then and I see what’s what.
For as you can appreciate being here is fine but I have liveries to get out. So again have to balance my work out.

Thanks tho for giving this a try, that’s all we can do is try.
But if we can try not make extra work for ourselves then we must try that too.

Work we put out is actions, words are just words, and plans are plans they don’t always work out so why have one.
To be free and adapt is key to any thing that wishes to survive.

If one can’t quickly adapt then that when things go extinct.
Therefore life has no plan. It reacts to life its self. We never know what’s around the corner.
We can only react to what life throws at us. No planning can take so many variables into consideration.
I’d manage risk and keep an open mind. A plan means all can see so they too can react to that plan.

No company does that, and why leaks are so damaging. You’re giving you competitors inside information.
And why I say never believe in that I say or do, it’s a show one big cover up.

I agree with you there. As a team we've contributed in multiple ways. Look at the 390 I made as an example. Both you and TG08 had an idea for what the BR logo could look like when I was unsure if it's use. It's thanks to you two that I managed to get it out, just on a smaller scale. And anyway, it's thanks to you two I started uploading content to CC anyway. I considered it, but I never went through with it.

No Del Boy is from a BBC TV Comedy in the early 80s. Peckham they live, a bough of London. Yet was filmed in Bristol.
Del things he knows French but if you watch the show you’ll see what I am on about.

And I’m sure I seen you say you know some German so Hello Hello or Allo Allo is for you.
It’s French and German lol.

I Remember them very well as child so have them all on Box sets. Hundreds mate.
And Benidorm is where the ITV shows filmed. My Daughter went not long ago.
She watched Benidorm and Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. And Frank Spencer from Some Mothers Do Ave Em.

I always watch stuff like this because it’s makes on laugh so much.

Not really. As I'm on Gen 8 as well as Microsoft store, I just take it as a bug with gen 8

 

And look how we did it. By engaging that’s all. Being community members and supporting each other.
I hate to think you or anyone thinks I’m some master of something. I’m not, if anything I am completely the opposite, I am weak because I don’t have the skills necessary to participate with others. Meaning if I can’t engage with them then they can’t converse with me.

You know I’m a deep thinker yet I can’t help that, just the way I was born. And why I say the everyone has a skill a Job to do.
It’s finding those with the same passion and interest to get a Job or something done.

And we have as you too say you have done.
Then and now, the different contrasts of your work or attitude. Be here or in personal life.

You acted you done something and so you will be something.
By acting we grow by falling and getting up we grow, we are constantly doing something and that’s what makes the difference.
Leaning from what ever life has in store, a Plan?, maybe but plans don’t always work out because so many variables, people and their path.
All the decisions they make can completely mess up life’s plan.

Life is life we act on the now in what’s in front of not worry about what’s in front of us. We can’t plan for what life has in store.
We can only act remember, and if we fail to act in the now. Then that’s how regrets are made a risk we take.

That’s life one big risk and why I say manage risk not the plan, you or no one understands the plan.

So yes we all acted and done something, has it made a difference and have you made a change.
Have you grown?

If the answer is yes then I hope I acted when needed to make a change too
I have a lot to learn too, I still need to grow.

And never will stop growing, I will on,y stop growing if I have no food or no light in my life.
We all need those to grow.

I'd say yes. I'm creating fictional and semi fictional liveries, engaging with other community members, learning new formats, etc....

Mmm. Even though deep thinking can be a curse, it can also help during quality management.

I would say the part about your weakness isn't necessarily true. You contacted me when you invited me to join you for Rail 200, you've been helping others with their liveries. Take the example of the thread we were on this afternoon. That guy needed help and you offered your advice/knowledge. But that's just my opinion of course.

The Night Shift.

Update. Shorted Logo Colours, restarted drawing. A day or two and it’s yours TG08. I had to start again as I was getting lost and wasting time tracking what was what. So started again.
Like I was saying TG08, I have to do them in one hit. Many hours of work, but with home DIY etc I couldn’t not focus or flow.

So Again I haven’t given up, I’ve hit a bump in the road but not at speed. I’m still on the road.

Hey I’ll try be short.

When I said you had freedom then all what you ask for you have and had. Complete freedom of the task I gave you and your freedom to engage or share you thoughts or process on that given task. A good way to get feedback. What you do on your own thread is in away no concern to me as that’s yours to man manage as is the same with this project thread.

You and TG08 had freedom it’s what I gave you both at the start, and you still do.
To do what you felt fit for the thread quality and any given tasks. Especially if you and TG08 run circles around me when it comes to the knowledge you both have. And why you both again had the freedom too have all what you ask as topic material to be here of Railway related or on your own threads. I can’t provide that and why you both part of the R200 Project. You’d both knowledgeable and skilled.

So yes my tone is not of a nasty or angry one, I’m just speaking plainly.
What you ask for is what we the Team have is freedom. Freedom to get the Job done.

390s they are still on hold. I have one message and that’s it. One!. So no I will not be doing this again. If it take me time then I’ll just have to do it myself at the risk of everything else.
Even my company side. I can only do so much on my own.

Well there you go it ain’t all bad then We’re always getting something if we’re doing. Moving.
The world doesn’t come to us, we have to go to it. Exceptions of this world.

Oh and for thinking and it being a curse. Yes a curse we put on ourselves if we are thinking the wrong thoughts.

For the sake of simplicity then if we say we thinking of a livery and what to do then you thinking, by thinking in one area you may miss another area. So to me thinking is a curse, yet what I do is think about what I am thinking about.
This way I can see what I am looking at and taking on board, thinking about that and see what I am not thinking about.

Why I kept saying about the large BR logo on the Avanti theme. I knew it worked because I was doing something similar on a class 43 set.
I’d kept saying to you look at it work the problem, sit look and think about what your doing and what you want.
Don’t let the mind wonder off. Think about what your thinking about and find out what your not thinking about or thought about.

A thought process. Thinking about one subject matter and getting no answers is called a loop.
I suffered with them and why I see what you mean about a curse. But if we understand what we think off and the environment that dictates that is one way to lift the curse of deep thinking. It all depends on the state of the mind and what we think about we become.

Negative thoughts un happy world. Positive thoughts means a happier world full of positive energy.
If everyone is down or negative then we must be more positive to keep the environment we life in a positive environment.

If our environment is bad so will what we thing, hence why society can change for the worse.
The world we life in and the things we see and hear. It all affects the subconscious the one that keeps us awake at night.

So it’s all about being positive as much as we all can. Negative energy or thoughts do a great deal of damage.
You will see how I get when speaking about this topic. More seriously and philosophical, my thoughts.

What you have done is what I will do to you. Think of an Elephant Jplayz.

See. The power of things out of our control if we don’t stop and think.

Heh you never know. I don't think I'd particularly like an "office job" particularly. I'd rather be doing something where I'm physically doing something. Like guarding on a train, etc.....

I like the fact that me and TG08 have the rail knowledge whilst you have knowledge with design in particular. It's a fun mix as me and TG08 can help each other with our knowledge (like TG08 may know more about heritage stock whilst I may know more on modern stock), and we can help you out, showing how each of us are vital in different ways.

I know I've been lacking this past week on Rail 200, but I hope to fix that if I can get WCL next week. The 150 and 37 should help me fill some gaps. That is a big if, but I'll see what I can do. I want to add to TG08s thread for Rail 200 you both set up, but I mostly have electric stock which doesn't help.

Yep, you hit the nail on the head. It’s what makes a great team. Look at the APT P, and E. The minds they had but it was all rail knowledge. It took the experience of aerospace engineers to make the APT P, E and the eventual Production Class.
Different people all with differing skills and tasks. Electrical engineers, Fitters, even right down to putting tape on the coils in an alternator.
Everything was done by someone. It’s why Dovetail Games is called Dovetail. Bringing something together.

A really great Brand name Dovetail Games is. Because is says Team, together to make something happen.
It speaks a lot about the person behind the company.

So as you can all I am doing is getting a team together to make something happen.
We all have an individual skill sets and so each have a specific Job to do.

And if were to move forward then your task was the coaches for the class 43, I then handed you the Units to do.
Again I left you to it so you felt I wasn’t going back on saying about having freedom.
I simply gave you the outline or a quick brief of what I was looking for. You was free to run with it, show me as you do and I’d advise if necessary. It’s your role due to liking art. If you do art then you can do complex work. You have to try and try or you will never know.

The class 43 825. When I thought of it did you think oh this will be easy. No it took a bit of pre thinking on what goes where etc.
If one thing is out then it means everything else will be. So if you imagine 600 decals on one work then you can see finding and then adjusting can take hours. But that’s what I am good at, I can process so much information and love the challenge.

It depends what mood I am and how tired I am. I have been tired and mentally tired not physically. I’m fit as butchers dog me lol.
Here I need that rest the mental side of it all. Why I switch of early so I can focus because they take hours mate hours.
But like I say I relish in the challenge I love it. Because again after all the hard work is over then look what we get.

The above liveries from me. I made these me, because I push what some class as impossible.
Nothing is impossible if we want something so much. So I will work and never stop working until I get what I want.

Pride and a sense of accomplishment for others to enjoy. To bring Joy remember, our environment.
If I can add to to the community enjoyment and I get the pride in seeing others happiness when using my work.

It’s never just about a livery it’s what the livery and branding says about a person.

What we say is not important but what we do is

If you really really want it then build it. Build it and they will come.
Together I hope us three still really really want it.

The pain and suffering is the hard work now, rewards come later. The harder we work the greater the rewards.

Oasis Reunion and the services put on for Fans from Scotland going to the Wembley Stadium. I have the dates somewhere.
Could you do something with this?. A Numbed of service linking in to Glasgow to Edinburgh then down the East Coast. Then you could have some servers down in London to for a return leg back up.

I could do something tho for what you suggested. So I have taken it onboard.

I was there in 94. Got the Original Albums still. And Blur.

All it was back then was Cigarettes and Alcohol. And Morning Glory was a proper tune to give ya right buzz in the mornings.

The livery is clean as moment but a lot of work to be done before it’s finished.
I love the blue tho against the white.

Okay last photos of this until She’s fully completed.

Had to lower as I thought I made allowances for the stack. So brought it lower to another level line.

Now in position with a few test decals (Name plate) This is going to be very very tight. Not much redundancy built in. A lot of rivets to hammer in, a high decal demand.

decided to honor all the time I have spent with this game over the years and how much it meant and still means to me (the game, the knowledge gained, massively enhanced my IRL passion for trains, and the last but not least, the community that has MOSTLY been nice and helpful )

I have decided to do it for BR 442 SKA version (even if it suffers from similar rolling resistance issues plagueing some other stock - like 0.5% descents barely phasing it lol), since it was probably the first train I have ever driven in the game (along with BR 406) and it is also my most played train/loco over the years according to in-game stats

P.S.: Also shout-out to the creator of this new timetable, cos my old "Love Express" livery finally works here... not sure if that was my first ever livery back years ago, but it is a kind of "pride" livery - based on an idea like "what if there was a dedicated train in Germany taking visitors to an LGBT+ Pride"... I myself am not part of that community, but a lot of my friends and colleagues are, so back then I had decided to do a livery in their honor (and another one later, also for 442, but for the Dresden Riesa version, I think)... you can check that one out in Creators Club as well

 

Just a quick update:
The next R200 livery I'm making is 3/4 complete. As a note for TG08, it's that one we discussed, just with a few minor changes. I'll try posting some teasers once I've added the R200 logo

I will be uploading 37 501 soon and 66 754 “Enterprise” then doing some reading for this 390 livery.
Wish I had more support on that one. The 390s are a Rail 200 themed.

The Real locomotive is due to appear at The Greatest Gathering between the 1st and 3rd of August.
This livery made for TSW5 has a few alterations to the Real livery, it only for adding reference to the Railway 200 theme.

As we, the R200 Team are trying to replicate The Greatest Gathering for fan and the community.

The Avanti Mix livery is the one Lee said to you stick with because again I have believe TSLP Paint Shop have a 43 in the same state.
It’s just not been publicly announced due to work constraints the Team have down at the Paint Shops.
