Liveries Rail 200. Preparations And Ideas For September.

Hello Tom, firstly I would like to apologise for not being around to make a public announcement myself, even properly welcome you officially to the R200 Team and Project. I did have arrangements to make the announcement myself, yet when at work then sadly time flys by.
And I again Thank TG08 for stepping in, I know things are moving fast for Him too.

So I have made arrangements with TG08 to have a little meeting room set up so we can discuss many great ideas you have mentioned or have planned going forward within the R200 Team. I will not discuss any details about what is currently planned as this is TG08 area.
Yet I do feel you have something of high interest to me for which I will converse with you privately at the Meeting Room.

I would also love for us to find a better way of communicating in order for me to help or assist you with the Railway 200 logo or anything else you might need assistance on. I did place a step by step guide on The Works Shed if that information could be of any benefit to you.
I will always support the best I can like we all do in this Team.

I’m absolutely delighted to hear the joy in your heart to be part of this Project and now as an official R200 member.
As Team will always support you because you have passion for this Project just like we all do.

So Tom, Welcome to R200 Team, I hope you have a Hard Hat and bring a Packed Lunch.

This is me speaking freely but dude I’m sure we could have shorted something. But I know TG08 and you are making plans and so part of my agreement is to not interfere only if I feel there is a need to.
If arrangements have been made now and plans that you’re happy with then I shall leave you all be then.

I’ll always be here to support and when the time is ready, or if you win the lottery a year from now. Then I’m sure we can always find something to do together.

Hey hey. It was nothing you did wrong. I wasn't sure if I was going to get the £40 pound one anyway so its fine. I had expressed my doubts about WCMLOS and we made an agreement, which I stuck by. And plus it's given me Cardiff, Class 20, and Tess Valley, giving me six extra trains to work with.

 

Cheers, I will take some proper rest if I can. Not had any proper sleep, due to burning up like.
Feels like I’ve PPeed the bed. So it’s waking me up. Nodded at 5 I think then woke at around half seven.

I can just about function tho but once this 390 is done then I may need a small break like if that’s okay.
The MK3s I can plod along too, as I may keep the stock simple. Not over done or cheesy looking.
Due to being stuck in the 90s then I do love the executive look, conservative and refined. Tasteful yet elegant.
Smart not to brash or in your face.

So yes something tasteful for Jimbo

Wow you sound like you are as ill as I was last summer. Yeah definitely take some rest. I had a lot going on when I was ill and it took me a month to get back into my regular routine again as it took so much energy to get out of bed. Then again stress doesn't help when you're sick. Just take it easy then. Simplify what you have to do so you don't waste too much energy so you don't make yourself feel worse.

Of course it's okay. I'm sure none of us want you to feel sick. Heh, I can agree there. The old BR and Intercity executive colour ls look far more appropriate, as like you say, it's not in your face, yet it still has a smart look to it.

 

That cool then. I appreciate what you have done, we had a small issue that did become a problem.
A problem that has now been resolved and so relieved any undue pain for the Team or Project going forward.

It’s done now And you have more to play with for your money. I did the same to be fair, makes perfect sense if money is an object.
Have fun in the Class 40s too, slow grind up hill. I’ve nearly done all Leeds Manchester routes on TSW4 on PS4 as I was trying to get up on the PS Trophy Board. Completed all the scenarios for that DLC too.
I was in 50 place in world rankings when I last looked. Completed every TSW title.
6 Platinums.

So if you want a small competition then I’m on for it if you are?.

Thanks you, I’m sure I’ll be okay, I had to tough it out when I drove from 4 Am to 16:00 when under the weather with Man flu.
I worked for a week with Two popped disk, my legs were going numb. The water board needed us to keep the water you drink safe.
From Scotland to Lands End. I was a key worker you see, it’s how I got Covid that kicked the stuffing out of me for 2 to 3 years.

So I can perfectly relate to how you feel. These things can have devastating effects on our lives.

But I’m fine mate, just need a good nights sleep and I’ll be right as rain.

In fact looking back at my career I do think I am a workaholic. First in, and always last one out.
Well if my drivers where struggling in say bad winter conditions then I would not leave them alone out there.

We depended on each other. They was not just staff, they was Men working hard for a living.
I was only 21 but had the respect of hundreds of drivers. We was friends and miss them all dearly.

All the Boys from Shearings coaches, I miss you all.

When making videos I tend to set the date to September or October to get that sunrise look,
this one's set in early October, added some fog (I always use Jetwash's lighting mod), and you get something like this.

Anyway I have a few treats for some closer users whom have been supporting me as leader and with other outside situations.
My Team as a Whole and for new or possible future teams members.
I haven’t been around on here much as I had to get this livery done, yet sadly been struck down with man flu, the reason for its delay even tho I worked non stop nearly for 24 hours and still up.

I can’t rest until you see what I have tried to do in giving some back as a way to say thank for all the help and support over the last week or so.
The Team and the support shown has been amazing, I truly thank you all, I sincerely mean that, for what you’ve have done for each other.

Yet I never found out who truly Won.

So my friend here is our answer.
The main unit has your secret nickname on so essentially it’s named for you. I could sit here all day saying well I was doing the same behind closed doors but wasn’t in the AWC theme. APT yes AWC no. So you Won because you had the idea my friend.

So Jimbo. I will say this. You have dipped your toe in and out with this thread and nothing wrong with that.
I’m an advocate for freedom, liberty not to sure because people abuse liberties.
Argue and so achieve nothing.

We’ve had a few let’s say personal DM, yet some quite serious and let’s say dangerous ones.
Yet did we fight?, Did we argue, no. We was true and open. It takes two people to talk open.
It how men overcome their differences. By being honest.

That takes cuts to do something like that in a public domain and dare I say with someone like me.
I understand what it must be like for you even others to deal with me on the odd occasion.
You know this for yourself first hand. So does that GWE thread, but you seen there was reason for my outburst.

You seen reason hence you are a responsible man. Not many of them around.

So Jimbo you too are valuable to me more than you know.
You say I am the wisest person you’ve meet, yet that’s only because I learn from those around me.
Hence I have no friends because there are no reasonable men or no men that know of wisdom to speak of it.

Yet you’re a complete man, Whole and true. For this I will always be you friend.

No one had done something like that on YT video. You don’t know how long I’ve just wanted to see my liveries on YT but in the way you do your normal videos.
Why well I can see them or enjoy them in there natural background if in control of a service.

Good grief! What a livery!

It is incredibly kind of you to make these references for us. The Team R200 logo looks great! I like the names by the cab of the units, and the Jimbo nameplate looks awesome!

I've never actually been on a Pendolino - so this is my first time ever being 'on' one! I love it.

Thank you so much for putting this event together for us. Even if DTG have something planned for R200 for TSW6, the effort you've gone to and the challenges you've faced will make this meetup very special indeed!

I'll be back with more R200 liveries soon once the main bulk of my work is done.

 

I agree. This will advertise us on Creators Club as well helping to spread the word about our involvement in R200 which I appreciate. This is also what I hope to achieve by making the graphics which are in the works. If you want I could make you one as well if I have your permission for your work you've done for R200.

Really? You'd like it a lot I feel. They're quite the upgrade on the voyager's, but the Voyager's are still an iconic train.

Edit2: So far the game is having none of it, only seen the in game liveries so far, even though I've spawned one myself.

The weekend is fast approaching though, so I'll try again then.

 

Currently only have 4 train in the scenario at the moment for 1Z25. Working on 222 services for now, then I will work on 158/170 services, followed by some freight.
Average amount of services
~ 7 Meridian ai trains (using jplayz1151 ’s livery)
~ 7 EMR 170 / Sprinter ai trains (170 EMR, 158773 liveries unknown, for EMR 158’s in EMT will use original livery unless I can find one with EMR Regional Branding
~ 1-2 freights.

Wow, well well well. This is great.

I’ll be looking into a few things others I will try keep me nose out. Jplayz

But I have some news which I’m gonna short out now.
So please look for a UPDATE for 390 113.

MISTAKE!. What we see here is a complete loses of focus and attention. Tiredness. Why I should have stopped.
Even now but can’t rest or sleep due to feeling rough.

So still working on something now, that’s when I decided to look then over 390 113 as in my mind did not remember that balance process being done for the logo. Been so tired didn’t even notice it till now.

Doings some testing you see,

The TEAM and R200 are aligned.

I will be correcting any other errors I’ve missed.
Actually if we are going to be placing so much work I do wonder if we should have some kind of report or even user feedback thread.

Right now so much has to be taken in to consideration. That’s why my mind is doing, I’m looking at all the now and what could be or be a future problem.
If we expanding then we must care about quality and users that use what the R200 Team put out.

Simply put I need more clear information so problems to can be clearly identified then addressed.
That means a clear way for the information to flow and be channeled. Be that of information on Threads or internally as a Team.
We need this structure and have a strategy or some contingency plans.
All this could be taken in to consideration by all R200 Team members if we are to be discussing a Roadmap.
Like the Red Brick Roadmap

So my brains seems to be firing up again but for how long not sure, hopefully I’ll be back soon to have the discussion I need with you and a few other first. Yet if at the moment we’re proceeding with the basics, that is having liveries now and the direction I felt was missing originally.

The idea you TG08 and TTB, about a steam evening service.
Its what I wanted. But I knew TG08 you and I needed to be on the same page for this to happen.
It was always simple in theory but to actually do it was all your down to what you know and do best.

Here I felt as I say something was missing all the different themes moods and atmospheres of the past or even today.
Combine the history of what we have on TSW5 and bring it all together at the Event or The Greatest Gathering on TSW5.
The original idea title, or TSW5s Greatest Gathering. A clear title and indication of what the a at the Event is about without explaining what the event is about because TSW5s Greatest Gathering speaks for itself.

The idea and in theory how easy it all sounds.

Across the country the people of the Nation woken to a new dawn, that day was 27 September 1825 a day that are to celebrate today (Date of what we have set) a day that changed history for ever.

Something like that to feed into a little story board for explaining all the different services the Team makes.
Am services like a sleepy DMU service down to meet an express stream service.
Midday services and the evening or late night service as overflow services.

Everyone has a time of day difference theme with eras used and the traction seen in relation.
Many ways for users to pick a way to journey down or up to the Events.

It’s vast even thinking about it. But do think about it. Flex that creative mind.

I did say this on the very first page of this thread.
And so now I can say we are seeing you and others do that.

Create have fun like big kids. It’s all exciting.

Ok. My Brains are not firing up.
So I’ve fixed the following issues.

On 43 803 “Pen Y Darren” wrong shade black decal on grill. (I wanted to see if I can draw a perfect circle)

Then the issue spotted with the R200 TEAM Logo.
Both livery’s concerned will be UPDATED on CC later today.

In the meantime if anyone does spot a problem, then please inform me of anything.

And commend you for noticing. How can you or anyone make a decision on if a person lies to hide a mistake.
If make one I make one, why should lie so other don’t know the truth.

Without trust or owning up then how can someone trust you.
Especially when it comes to any form of partnership or relationship.

We all make mistakes but it’s the lying that hurts the most.
Mistakes can be fixed, lies a very rarely fixed if ever at all.

Why I never lie. It hurts people.

So yes I commend you too. If people only spoke the truth and not lie to save face.

I believe they call it being a Man, taking responsibility for our action.
And is why I will never trust a man that does nothing wrong.

I made a mistake and see it could effect you and have a knock on effect down the ranks so to speak.

Okay well I’ll have to be quick as I found a few more MISTAKES! so set me back,,,again, possibly others too as I noticed this livery is currently trending. So a real massive thank you to all that’s Subbed. Why again need to act fast on these issues to avoid any for stress for others.

A Few fixes. Sure I did the roof tho well just the black recesses. Sure the decal fairy’s play when I’m away.

So taken Her for a spin and hopefully have it uploaded around half 6.
