After toying with my raildriver for the past few hours, I was hoping maybe Dovetail can make some improvements regarding the usage of it. The major suggestion has been discussed to death which is making all of the keys able to be customized on a per train basis (ie. depending on the train the throttle handle should be reversed and custom key mappings), but I would also like ancillary improvements regarding the operation. On consoles, the key bindings for SIFA and PZB are combined to the circle button on Playstation or the B button on Xbox. There should also be a toggle to allow the alerter button on the Raildriver to be combined as well since the PZB acknowledge button isn't standardized across all trains, and the button is extremely out of place on the button row. By mapping it to the alerter button, it allows for more realistic PZB operations considering the switch is usually on the left side anyways which is where the alerter button is. There will be some people irked that the PZB acknowledge sound is played every time you want to acknowledge SIFA, so this should be a toggleable option, but console players have gotten used to this, so I'm sure others will as well. If the keys were all mappable, then this wouldn't be an issue in the first place, but since Dovetail for whatever reason refuses to do so, this is a suitable compromise for the time being. Modify the way the Raildriver displays the speeds from 0 to 10 m/km. In the current state, there is a decimal place that appears if the train is below 10 m/kph. Most trains do not have this tenths display in the speedometer in real life, so there should be a way to program it to not display that and opt only to display full integer values.
