Welcome to the Railshots Contest for June Competition Theme: Pride on the Railways What gives you a sense of pride on the railways? Is it a particular loco or train? A colourful livery you've designed yourself? For this month's Railshots contest, we are permitting the use of liveries that don't use/feature brands or rail operators, to help avoid any licensing worries, but still promote the fun and joy of customised designs! Winners will only be selected from those who follow the above guidance, thank you! Prizes and Winners For the contest, there will be 2 winners; all winners will receive a feature on the Loading Screens for 2 weeks, a feature in the Roadmap for that Month, plus a feature on social channels. They will also be rewarded with a TSW6-supported add-on key of their choice. Keys will be delivered via DM from the official Dovetail Staff once the competition is closed The last entries are on the 30th June 2026, with winners announced shortly after this. Competition Rules: Rules Update : Please only send one entry per theme, and make sure your screenshots haven't been edited with any external editing tools to keep it fair to other competitors. However, you may use the in-game photo mode to edit them. Limit is 1 screenshot per person Include in your post the route the screenshot was taken on as well as the name of the train (if applicable). Screenshots must be in a 16:9 resolution, at least 1920x1080 pixels, even better if it’s 4K! Screenshots may be taken on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S ,Steam or Epic. Submissions must fit the theme of the month, as stated at the beginning of this post. Other Rules: Official content only. Please make sure anything that is not available on the Steam Store or Dovetail Store is not shown in the screenshot. - This means no community mods. Please limit chat to only when absolutely necessary. Setting up the shot If you are playing on Steam the keys “2” or “3” will offer a selection of pre-set external views, or you can use “8” to get a free camera with more control. If you are playing on console pressing the right joystick will give you a free external camera. Console players can change the camera angle moving the two joysticks, and on Steam the direction keys and mouse will achieve the same results. Taking A Railfan Shot Make sure “Hide the UI” is on in settings, then... Xbox One – Hold the X button. PlayStation – Hold the Square button.
