The DR 252 should be the successor of the DR 250 (BR 155). It is a electric six-axis loco. 1991 got the first loco delivered. Until 1995, 350 should follow. But this never happened, only 4 locos got delivered. Later, they got the BR 156. The DB wasn't interested in only 4 locos of a series, so they selled them. The Mitteldeutsche Eisenbahn Gesellschaft (MEG) bought the 4 locos, today the MEG has the 156 001, 156 003 and 156 004. 156 002 got 2020 selled to the EBS. The MEG mostly operates on some freight trains in middle germany, Rapid Transit isn't unrealistic. Some pictures: This loco can substitute lots of freight trains in nearly everywhere in germany, but out of middle germany, this loco is very rare (there are only 4 locos!). In the area around saxonia, this loco is still kinda rare. 156 002 is now operating for EBS:
Well, as they’re so rare, it wouldnt make sense to add it to any route as timetable wouldn’t work, scenarios would rely a lot on events or something to make it plausible; just doesn’t make sense to add.
anas.hera they are just rare outside of saxonia. Around Halle/Leipzig, they are maybe not the most common locos, but they are still operating a lot (not only special events)
If you owned this one then you can use DR BR252 West German designation DB BR156 on West Germany routes RSN RRO HRR HMA Main Spessart Bahn Aschaffenburg-Gemünden Hanseatic League Main Line Hamburg Lübeck and SKA.
