That's normally a problem more associated with large studios that have high staff turnover where they have lots of people but many of them are inexperienced with the engine, and certainly aren't familiar with its more advanced features and how to make use of them well. Contrast that with a single developer who knows the engine inside out, as you see with something like Bright Memory: Infinite.

Tried the Köln-Aachen route journey mode. RE9 Siegen Hbf that ends in Köln. At first I thought it is better to not ruin my own immersion by checking how many passengers I'm actually carrying but halfway through curiosity got the better of me. I must say, that I've never been on these trains in real life so maybe this is totally realistic but my Talent2 that consisted of two trains, so 8 coaches, had 2 passengers on it. Those 2 exited at the Köln station (which itself was rather eerily empty). Funnily enought I never noticed this lack of passengers before TSW3. Maybe it's route specific but this Köln-Aachen experience was rather underwhelming.

Well unfortunately this is very common on TSW3.
The last week end I run some services with the "inverse passenger behavior"

I mean, for one hand, if you are at the departing platform, you check it and you see lot of passengers leaving the train!
By the other hand, when you arrive to the destination, and opens the door, no one passenger leave the train.
When it must be the contrary!.

Another issue I noticed is, as most trains stops at the end of the platform, and usually the people appears on the station just when the train arrives, and do not know for what reason, most of them goes to the front end of the train!
So no enough time to board it, as time on stations usually is not so long!

Bought the new Linke Rheinstrecke: Mainz - Koblenz route and played the first service in journey mode which was IC (708) Frankfurt am Main Hbf to Binz - Rügen. Noticed the train was empty again. Hardly any passengers waiting in the stations. What the hell is going on?!

Currently I consider only freight dlc and bundles. Till they bring passanger system to decent condition, passenger routs are NO go for me (not a single passngr tsw3 dlc bought since starting pack). Freight has it own issues like eotd, banking comm, brakes, but not as much puncturing immersion as this empty ICEs, commuters and TGVs....

Passenger behaviour is a core system, so not related specifically to the DLC. Until they change the behaviour in the core the passengers will all do the same
