    Hey guys,

Regardless of what I try, where I try it and what bait I use I cannot hook these fish, I've spent 40+ hours in an an attempt to get them but nothing whatsoever. Has anyone got any tips or such to try and get these guys?

I've got all the other boss fish (minus Wrighty) 6+ times, but these will not be hooked.

    Thanks for any help!

I caught these fish by fishing pegs I didn't fancy, around the parked canal barges particularly. I used hi viz pop ups but this was all before the new baits came in. Dont know if something had changed and this advice is still valid, but feel free to try!

I have had most success at the docks by using the float with hi vis pop recently including the fish you’re looking for, just cast 50 yards out to the right of the central pontoon

I see the boss weights for the carp hasn't been fixed in Foundry yet. ( Wrighty and the other one of 92lb that is supposed to be 42lb ) The casting bug at the pegs across the hotel also hasn't been fixed :(

Back on topic , catching boss carp on a small hook and waggler , that seems so wrong. I must give that a try one day hahahaha.

Catching boss fish using the size 12 float works to such gr8 effect I’m now using the combination of hi-vis pop-up & float to catch every boss fish from all waters

Pitty the float mechanic is so horrible. I tried floating a few times but it is so inconsistent in the striking mechanic it's more a frustration than anything else. I always strike at the time one should and get random variation of results from , nothing happens no strike at all , too early , too late, perfect , bad. That mechanic is awful and discourages one within a few minutes to go back to ledger.

    Hey @essoxlucious

I am using your method, but the fish literally won't stay on the line, they break off as I am picking up the rod, any tips?
