Specifically where there are massively long sidings in huge railyards. I'm looking at you USA. I was navigating the Altoona yard as part of a scenario. Having to zoom in on the map to find a required siding, then zoom out to check the points direction, it would have made the job easier if there was some kind of repeater label on the siding closer to the points. Don't know if it's possible, but no harm in asking!
I found the scenario enjoyable despite the above slowing me down.

There are some routes that employ such a strategy, most notably (to me) was the now defunct Bessemer and Lake Erie (also known as Pennsylvania steam) route.

Ah, so it might be possible via an update maybe? Someday? :D
Nice to know, NEC Railfan, thanks.
