If you save manually in your own custom scenario, it causes the saved game button to disappear on the route menus. So even though it successfully saved (according to the message), I cannot access this. Saving in a journey mode service brings the button back. So right now it is currently not possible to access manually saved games of custom scenarios. Tested it on Ruhr-Sieg Nord and London Bakerloo. Same results every time.
