If you actually read everything in context including the quoted post, you would see NWP said they refused to buy any more Rivet content, I never told them (and never would) not to buy their DLC. Seems reasonable that NWP can refuse to buy Rivet DLC which leaves those of us who wishes to, free to do so and NWP and others never need to have their installation sullied by Rivets products again, simple.

When I see paranoid comments like "attempt to deflect criticism" or shutdown debate, I find it is usually that person who is attempting to do so.

We are all allowed opinions on here not just those which chime in with yours.

    I quoted the wrong post

I was referring to this. I see similar posts like those which come off as a way of trying to deflect criticism. Also where did I say you weren't entitled to an opinion because if you read what I said, I never said you couldn’t have an opinion. I'm not sure how my post is paranoid

Only in your head is it deflecting criticism. I have criticised their content myself although the good things they do gets frowned out by the table thumping you get on these forums.

I made a logical suggestion, if Rivets content is that bad, don't purchase it. I never said don't criticise it!

However I don't understand the obsession with Rivet by those who clearly won't be purchasing their content.

It's not that bad. Island line is OK, the new version is even better. Arosa has a distant mountain issue but it was the first attempt to really do distant mountains and the only look bad at sunny days. Bernina is great and you cannot blame Rivet we do not want to pay for the full length route. West Cornwall is bashed a lot by the locals, but I think if you know a route well you always will be disappointed. For me it was quite good.
