Barrow line is fairly scenic run although I'm not sure that or the Morecambe branch are highly requested. I have stopped bothering with the Suggestions section now as it seem to consist of ECML/WCML/Merseyrail plz with the latest traction. I think an AC loco is on the way as to be honest there isn't anything else I the UK thats unique.
Double track no catenaries and woods/bushes are confirmed. Also, you can see tracks early in the morning or evening. I do not think anyone can predict which route this is supposed to be and why care? JT will create something nice probably.
If it is where we think it is then Steam Town was alive and kicking at Carnforth in the late 80s, which could be interesting.
With all the WCML speculation, I feel it may be in keeping to pull out this gem from the Waggonz Facebook page during the development of the AP Class 87. "While we are building the Class 87 for TS1, it is nice to know that it looks pretty good in UE4 too." Hinting to it possibly being ported to TSW2 at the time, this of course never happened but in what seems like the advent of an 80's WCML route in TSW, it feels as though this may now happen with JT either creating their own model or using/ altering Waggonz's. This would then layer onto the existing Blackpool Branches route with stock from BPL layering onto this. Seems like a natural place for JT to go, having already modelled Preston in this era- taking a huge workload off them whilst fitting into DTG's internal "LAMPOIL" process. I would love to see a WCML route in any era honestly, and I think that Preston-Carlisle is absolutely doable being ~80 miles in length, giving it a similar scope to the ECML, with a lot of the stock being available from BPL and the tracklaying already done to some extent north of Preston. Providing a "Long Haul", "Unique" experience to TSW.
Keep in mind the Morecambe branch is only a short 3 mile spur off the main line, so including it amongst a larger WCML segment would not be too much additional work, all for the benefit of many more additional services with the Pacer.
