One simple way to resolve this would be allowing the players to switch the layers on or off as they please.
Some appreciate more traffic variety, even if it's not 100% accurate. I belong to this category.
I fully understant though, that some "harder core" fans do not want to see wrong trains in wrong place, so it would make perfect sense to allow them to disable offending layers, nothing fancy, just an on-off switch.

We need the BR 151 for the Schublok/Banking Services as freight Loco.
    The 185 never did that.

Then you'd have to start making arguments for it to uncouple (or not be coupled at all like IRL) before the tunnel.

That’s why the Services are really buggy, I reach only like 20 km/h the Mountains and the train want always stopped there.

The highlighted area (The Circle) amounts to 5 Miles (yes...). If the branches are included it amounts to 17.

Have you turned on the banking communication on the far left screen? It's a red button, if you don't press that you're only giving traction with 1 loco

I sometimes have to turn off throttle completely and then give traction, have you checked with exterior camera if the other loco is showing traction on its screen?

I don’t think the answer that optimization is ongoing suffices when the questions on optimization progress are framed around making all HMA layers work on consoles.

How much progress has been made on optimization to achieve better HMA functionality on consoles? Will official support for PS5 and Xbox Series make it easier to fix the issues with HMA layers, and if so, is it still DTG’s ambition to implement said layers for the old consoles?

In the stream, did they respond to the question of Cathcart circle line regarding if the 2 branch lines will be included? The route is in testing and no longer in production, so it would have been an easy response... I´ve seen the whole the sttream, but maybe i missed some parts, don´t know...

I agree. I would love to see different types of trains on routes if they actually run on that route in real life. If they don't then they shouldn't be added and if they are, I wouldn't want to have it on because you wouldn't see a DB BR 406 ICE3M which runs international services on BRD in real life

They never answer questions about a different (future) route/DLC than the one they are featuring on the current stream.

Note for Adam: apparently DTG already have two container company licenses, Maersk and K-Line, since those logos appear on static containers in RSN:

Don't know if this is old news but listening to a TSW2 UK stream (can't remember by who) they said in it that the 313 would be coming on May 27th and that scottish circle route on June 4th, no idea if it's true or not but the stream seems reliable.

If it is true then what routes will the 313 appear on if it is coming out before the circle route?

The 313 will appear on the East Coastway as an add-on. Southern are the last operators of the unit and they are used almost exclusively on the East Coastway and West Coastway. I do not believe they have ever been used in Scotland, though they are similar to the Class 314 which shared a similar design, was built specifically for Scottish services. Hope that helps!

That right but i got another one for you,the dtg route CCR puts SD40 at the various mines, when it's very unlikely any mine on the CCR would have a SD40 or could even afford a SD40 back then,if dtg had added a GP7 at least that would have been abit believe'able for the route.

I’m still upset about this ugly Class 314 on Cathcart Circle in base of the Class 385.
It’s just a rebuild from the Class 313 to save Money. 9F0AE05F-A252-4311-84D8-1C62556482FE.jpeg

Personally, I much prefer the 314, I don't find most of the modern EMU designs very appealing to be honest.

The mines didn't own locomotives (except, for a while, the "Haysi Railroad" which was a CRR subsidiary and only ever owned one F7B). The CRR handled all the hoppers (and was well paid for it). Some of those steep spurs, and the heavy tails they had to pull, deff. required 6-axle road power, usually in multiples.

It is however fair to say that the loading engine kept parked at Berta, in game an F7A, in reality was more likely a GP7 or even an NW2.

The really truely offensive thing is that they br class 314 is likely the only train included with cathcart circle.

imo not much to choose between 313 and 314, although 313 marginally better livery. The 385 is overall a better looking train but not totally sold on the front of it.

Well the 313 and 314 use the same bodyshell so that's not surprising. Personally I just like boxy things

Not really, in the timeframe the route is set in (about 2014 based of the livery theysaid we re getting) was before the 385 was out. And if you read up about the route 85% of the services were operated by the 314. The 380 was the only other train operating in 2014 but was only used on the circle line and only during peak times. So it actually makes perfect sense. From a realistic approach

"In 2014 Class 314s primarily operated the Circle (including Newton, Neilston services). During peak hours Class 380s are also used on the Circle route only."

Why they not chooses the current Era from today, so we get the Class 385 without problems.
Hitachi Trains from Japan are really nice.
I want the Class 800 so hard but it can’t drive on the GWR route without making the Powerline before.

The route is set in 2011 so the 385 wouldn’t be possible

also both the class 314 and 385 are ugly, and that’s one of my favourite things about them

320s and 318s didn’t work on the route at the time, the only other possible one is the 380 which I’m hoping for

Well the 380s would make more sense for the period the route is set in. The 385s didn't enter service until a few years later but it is a shame that the route is only coming with 1 train. A class 380 would be nice. It does seem even though a 313 and 314 are different trains, dtg decided to not include another train to do less work since some things on the 313 and 314 can be recycled

Also, when this route is set, class 314s were the main workhorse of the route, with 380s, 320s and 318s being used in peak time services only.

I wonder if like some of other 1 train routes like lirr and rapid transit dtg might do a add on if the route prove successful enough to be worth the extra effort.

Well LIRR has the Budd M3 EMU which I believed sold well when it came out for tsw2020 even though it's riddled with bugs for tsw2 still. Additional addons that can be made for LIRR are the M9, the MP15 and the DE30 along with new lines and a extension of the Ronkonkoma branch

The DE30 would be a nice contrasting loco to the M7/3,just like db br 182 is a nice contrasting loco to the talent 1442.
Now the MP15 would also make a nice multiuse service loco, now i know i have complained about recycling trains abit but if dtg wanted the reuse the caltran MP15DC for this route atleast it would only be it's 2nd use and it worth useing again if it found here.

You wouldn't be able to reuse the MP15DC for lirr. The one that runs on lirr is the MP15AC which takes power from the third rail and runs on diesel. The MP15DC is diesel only. The DE30s would require a new branch line to be made

I'm honestly not upset about the 314 being on Cathcart. I'd love to see a 385, but not really on this route. I'd want it on something more long distance like Edinburgh to Glasgow. It's a bit like wanting the 800s for Penzance- St Ives/ Truro- I definitely want to see them in TSW, but on a route where they're able to let loose more.

They're both diesels, and neither takes power from anywhere. The difference is the use of a DC generator vs an AC alternator - the same difference as between the C44-9W and the AC4400CW

    (Also, 3rd-rail power is DC)

I saw someone on youtube on one of those real train journeys and he travelled on a class 800 from Paddington and gave his opinions on the train. They look nice on the outside but on the inside he said they looked cheap with flimsy plastic plastered everywhere. Think he said the seats were not to great but not 100% on that.

Outside designed by a company who make trains
Inside specified by a beurocrat in a London office trying to save money
Not always all it's cracked up to be (couldn't resist)(sorry, not sorry)

No, Hitachi does the train naked inside. The British Rail company does the interior and they are the ones to blame for the cheapo interiors.

Now talking about Acela and ICE-T...
They are tilting trains and DTG would take a bunch to make them as they have to develop the tilting system to work. Well if that system becomes available, then I would like to see the Swedish X2000 tilting train. That would be awesome. (That requires to develop tilting system and also ATC system)

Nah, DfT specified the interiors. Hitachi did the rest I believe. SO Hitachi are responsible for the cracks in the train, DfT are responsible for the cracks in people's spines
