I have a suggestion for train sim world, Roslagsbanan! Roslagsbanan is a narrow guage railway that runs from stockholm to the northern suburbs with three branches. The routes go through dense suburban development all the way to the countryside on the longest branch. The trains are real mighty, handeling up to roughly 4% incline and steep curves, snaking through dense devlopment on ground level with many level crossings. Roslagsbanan is currently served with two primary rolling stock. The older (but beloved) X10p built in the 1990s by ABB, getting a refurbishment in the mid 2010s, and also by the newer X15p built by stadler in the 2020s, only recently having entered service. The railway is 891 mm, being the only railway in sweden still in passanger service with that guage. Making it entierly unique. A great fit for Train sim world! The routing is as follows: 27: Stockholms Östra - Ormsta 27: Stockholms Östra - Lindholmen 27: Stockholms Östra - Kårsta 27S (snabbtåg/express train): Stockholms Östra - Linholmen 27S: Stockholms Östra - Kårsta The 27S Skips the stations: Djursholms Ösby, Ensta, Visinge, Bällsta 28: Stockholms Östra - Österskär 28S: Stockholms Östra - Österskär The 28S Skips the stations: Djursholms Ösby, Bråvallavägen, Djursholms Ekeby, Enebyberg, Rydbo, Täljö, Åkers Runö 29: Stockholms Östra - Näsby park The express trains allow for some super fast commutes, which is nessecary since it goes so far out. The service frequency is as follows on a normal weekday: 27: 3 times hourly 27S: 3 times hourly 28: 3 times hourly 28S: 3 times hourly 29: 3 times hourly Which gives a super busy departure schedule out of stockholm east! The services are either 3 carriges (x10p)/1 x15p, or 6 carriges x10p/2x X15P, which gives a 300 or 600 seating capacity. The 29 branch has too short platforms, so its always the shorter version. The reason why its such a great fit for TSW is that i blends countryside and urban development so smoothly, something we dont have a lot of in TSW.
