    Hi everyone,
With the ongoing success of the Southeastern High Speed route, I would love to suggest a highly logical and incredibly scenic extension: extending the line from Ashford International down to Dover Priory via Folkestone.
As someone who knows this area well, this extension would add massive variety to the gameplay by combining high-speed running, complex power/signalling transitions, and heavy freight operations:
    • The Route & Scenery: The line would run from Ashford International, past the Eurotunnel terminal area, through the scenic Warren tunnels at Folkestone, and along the iconic white cliffs before terminating at the dramatic, cliff-side cutting of Dover Priory.
    • Gameplay Mechanics: Drivers would get to experience the ultimate technical challenge—transitioning the Class 395 Javelin from the high-speed overhead lines (OHLE) and TVM-430 signalling of HS1 down to the traditional third-rail power and AWS/TPWS signalling of the classic network on the fly.
    • Freight Potential: This would be a massive win for freight fans. Including Dollands Moor Freight Yard right near the Channel Tunnel would open up huge opportunities for heavy international freight runs using Class 66s or Class 92s, navigating the steep coastal gradients.
Since Dovetail already has the core infrastructure and rolling stock built for SEHS, this extension feels like a perfect win-win for both the developers and the community.

    What does everyone think?

Considering the route is already extended from it's original state (St. Pancras to Faversham) to it's current (NKL to Dartford and HS1 to Ashford and the fact the Sheerness branch is being made as a seperate route add-on, I don't think we're getting the route extended any further.

I'm not against your idea but I just don't think it'll happen.
While you can't do it on the move, you can already switch power modes and signalling at Ebbsfleet International on the existing section.
The first thing that comes to mind is possible memory issues, although it really shouldn't be, the route is already 89 miles in total length in its current state and the performence isn't bad by any means, but not perfect. Extending the route would require more assests, more services, therefore would be more memory intensive.
