Are you willing to share the DSA?

I am working on a german route (RE10 Kleve - Düsseldorf) and all of the smaller stations use this assset.

It would be possible for me to create it by my own, but sharing assets between route creators prevents double work.
Maybe a content pool with free to use route assets where every creator could upload heavily used assets like the DSA would make sense.

Congrats! The annoucement that "Ticket to the North" is an official 3rd party was great to see! Are you still going to update this thread or will the communication channel change, now that you content is official?

And on that regard - is it actually your Husum-Tönnig route? Or are you even working on something else at the same time? Just wondering

I saw it in the february roadmap article too and was so surprised. He even was mentioned in the stream last evening. But I decided to not comment it in here to not throw any questions which might get him in trouble with the contracts. But as you did it now, I can't stop myself either.

Well, that would be the first community project which DTG officially want to get their hands on (lately I moreover I thought that they lost the interest in this concern).

And now your new name makes sense "Ticket to the North" as you use it as your third party acronym. By the way, if I can ask, are you an offically registed software developer in Germany now? Or can you join DTG as a third party even if it's all just a private and for the bureaucracy inofficial thing?

First of all, thank you all very very much for the kind words, I really appreciate it. As you can imagine, I am quite happy and excited about becoming a Third Party developer for TSW.

As much as I want to just take you with me on the journey, I'm afraid I cannot answer some of your questions, my working assumption at this time is that all my communication related to what I am specifically working on will be going through DTG from now on.

In any case, there is going to be quite a bit of work ahead of me (unsurprising I know ), therefore I am looking for support. If you are interested in getting involved with something new and exciting, please send me a direct message!

 

Not saying I'm personally interested because I have no skills, but can you specify a bit what you're looking for? Like someone who wants to learn Simugraph to set up a loco? Route artists? 3D model building?

 

I left it deliberately open, I'm not limiting it to any very specific skills at the moment since there is something to do for every imaginable part of the creative process, and every bit of help is valuable. Just let me know what you would be interested in, I don't bite at all. And skill is something we can always work on together if that's keeping anyone from getting in touch.
