I had to uninstall Western Lines of Scotland, however when upon reinstalling it, it doesn't show in any of the scenario menus or even the build menu, despite it showing within TSTools, I've deleted the cache, and uninstalled and reinstalled it again to no avail, and really wish to avoid a full reinstall.
Do you have this folder? \STEAM\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Content\Routes\13cd4c14-4798-4b9c-8fea-e69409602428 and what is the size of that folder. Precisely, how did you uninstall it and then reinstall it? Why did you uninstall it, in the first place?
Yes, I have the route folder and its 607MB, I uninstalled through the Manage my DLC option within in Steam, reinstalled the same way, then removing any leftovers manually, and I uninstalled because I wanted rid of a track makeover I had installed.
The way the Game gets uninstalled is the Steam System stops you accessing it. If you just wish to get rid of a corrupt route untick it in the Steam Client. Go to \Content\Routes\13cd4c14-4798-4b9c-8fea-e69409602428\ and open the Networks folder. Inside you will have a Tracks.bin file - rename to Tracks.bin.bak the game will not see it. Back in the Steam Client re-tick the route and Steam will download everything again. Peter
