Hello dovetail Games and TSW community, I would like to suggest a modern Rhine Valley route between Koblenz and Frankfurt/Mainz The Rhine corridor is one of the most interesting railway areas in Germany because it combines many different types of railway operations in one region - Regional services like RB10 (Vias Rheingaulinie) and RB26 (Mittelrheinbahn) - RE services connecting the larger cities like the RE 1 from Koblenz HBF to Frankfurt Am Main HBF over Mainz HBF - IC/ICE long - distance services to Frankfurt or over it - Heavy freight traffic along the Rhine A modern version of this route would offer a lot of variety for players. It would include major stations like Koblenz, Mainz and Frankfurt, while also featuring smaller towns. riverside scenery, bridges, castles and vineyards. The route would also fit very well into Train Sim World because it offers different gameplay styles: - stopping services with many stations - faster regional services - long-distance passenger trains - freight operations There is already an older version of the left Rhine Line in TSW, so a modern recreation or expansion of the Rhine corridor could be a great opportunity to bring this important railway area into the modern era with current trains, timetables and services. Thank you for considering this suggestion
This section already exists, albeit in two different routes and two different time periods, Linke Rheinstrecke: Mainz to Koblenz is set in 1997 and the Frankfurt S-Bahn, Frankfurt to Wiesbaden via Mainz is set in the between 2015 and the modern day, so like how people want to see a modern image equivilent of Spirit of Steam, I don't think we'd get this simply because it already exists, just not in one.
