Rsn No Traffic Ai Vehicles?

    Why there's no moving vehicles on RSN yet? I remember in one of the streams Adam saying they're aiming to improve older content with new features, improvements and bring then to same level as the new ones...

    Wait Ruhr-Sieg Nord?
    Did the update drop already? I did not see any notification for the phase 2 preserved collection being live already...
    And if I remember correctly, I always had ai traffic on that route. There were freight services where I had to wait at many signals because their was a Regional-Express going ahead of me.

    It's about car traffic, I think.

    As always, if you haven't seen it on the Roadmap it's unlikely to have been added.

    Oooh alright I understand. Well of course it would be nice and add to the ambience, but to be honest, I didn't even notice its absence in TSW 2020...

    Frankly road traffic should be included with everything for Tsw2.
    It really adds to the immersion.
    Long empty roads lead to a dead world.

    indeed, I'm asking about moving vehicles.
    Rapid Transit, West Somerset and Ruhr Sieg doesn't receive any.

    For sure, I think really helps with immersion, make the world feel a bit alive and active.

    Fair enough.
    The roadmap only mention preserved collection routes, but doesn't list all of the changes they made to each preserved content.
    Based on what Adam said, should we expect missing features like moving cars and passenger information screens being released to preserved collection?

    I mean the wording was that they will try to retrofit new features to older routes in order to keep a standard/quality level among them of sorts.
    So I think there is actually a good chance of that to happen eventually. But I would not expect it to be in the near future, as they will first and foremost be issued with getting everything playable and actually doable. (like for example the bugged cement circle scenario in TVL)

    The Preservation team can only achieve so much at once. The next update to the Roadmap is next week and we'll be streaming again, so be sure to get your question in.

    When this was said by Adam, they were still coming up with a team to do the work to the older routes. This is something I believe they will do over time but considering we don’t even have all the preserved content it will be a little while before we start seeing those updates.

    Quoting Sam as per say, It's not unreasonable to expect basic features introduced in the first TSW (like moving vehicles and working destination boards to be included since release of each preserved collection. Also, bugs within this preserved routes I'd expect to be solved BEFORE release.
    Apparently I should low my expectations quite a bit.
    Seems like the logic behind roadmaps are:
    No Sir, Don't expect a feature absent from the roadmap to be released anytime soon!
    Oh "your" bug isn't listed on the roadmap? Don't be silly, That doesn't mean it's not being looked into!
