I think the scenery looks good on Boston to Providence.

Some people have complained about a closed station being missing, and there's the catenery, but I think apart from that and a few clipping issues it's fine?

Overall the route does look good, and I am anxious to play it, but I think there are more issues than you suggest. A major one would be the nonfunctional cruise control on the Amtrak loco. This is a train driving simulator after all. People have found broken rails, errant lane markings on highways etc. And the issues you mentIoned such as the catenary and the missing station are actually game spoiling for many people.
Nothing is actually game breaking and there are many positives too. The trains seem well modeled as does the scenery. But, good though it looks, it's somewhat flawed as it stands.

I was specifically only talking about the scenery - I hadn't seen any mention of the highway markings. Of course there's wider issues.
