I'd like to see the S1 from Solingen Hbf to Duisburg Hbf as a DLC. It could be great that it connects the Hauptstrecke Rhein Ruhr from Duisburg to Bochum. Take a look at some of the big Stations. Stations Solingen Hbf Starting at Solingen Hbf, One of the big Stations on this DLC, with 5 Platforms this 4 Lines stop at this Station. Hilden The 3rd Station of the Solingen - Duisburg Route. It is served by the S1 and the S7. Düsseldorf-Eller The first Station of the S1 that is in Dusseldorf. This Station is only served by the S1. Düsseldorf Hbf Düsseldorf Hbf is the 2nd Major Station of this Route. With 20 Platforms more than 30 Lines serve this Station. This is the end Station for the S7 from Düsseldorf to Remscheid-Lennep. But for the S1 the Route continues. Düsseldorf-Wehrhahn This is the 1st Station after Düsseldorf Hbf and is served by the S1, S6 and S11. Sometimes the S1 terminates at this Station. Düsseldorf-Flughafen This Station is the 3rd Major Station of the Route. It is served by 7 Regional Lines, 1 S-Bahn Line and 6 High Speed Lines (including the Thalys) as the Name already says it, It is next to the Dusseldorf Airport. Duisburg Hbf Duisburg Hbf, the 4th Major Station is the end of the Route for the DLC. 13 Regional Lines, 1 S-Bahn Line and 15 High Speed (including Thalys and Flixtrain) Lines serve this Station. A great idea would be if this DLC and the Hauptstecke Rhein-Ruhr get connected so that you can continue to Bochum Hbf. Trains Here's now a list of trains that could fit for this Route: BR 422 with VRR Livery This Train is used for the S1 most of the time the Train has 8 Coaches (2 BR 422). BR 420 The BR 420 is sometimes used for the S1 from Solingen Hbf to D-Wehrhahn. It would be great to have a old Train in this Route and i think this is the perfect one. BR 648 with abellio Livery This Train is used for the S7 from Solingen Hbf to Wuppertal Hbf. From Monday to Friday the S7 only has 2 Services that stop at Düsseldorf Hbf. A Diesel Train like this Train could fit there. DABbuzfa 778 + BR 146 Between Dusseldorf and Duisburg there are alot of Regional Lines so how about adding the DABbuzfa 778 and the BR 146 for 1 Regional Route (RE 1 for example) Extra Platform Display For some of the Stations it would be great to have fully working Platform Display (here's an example of a Platform Display) Thats all the stuff for the DLC of the Suggestion, it would be great to see it come out in TSW 2
