so we should assume that the C40-8W is just the same from sand patch grade but reskinned? and what about the SD40-2? is just the same from sand patch grande or cajon pass but reskinned?

You will find out when you look over the cab's rear wall and find CSX or NS markings ...

The Dash 8 has the proper "notched" cab that the ATSF had ordered, but I don't think there will be any other major changes to the loco's themselves.

This is a bit disappointing. Plus all the pictured Dash 8's seem to be C40's. Are there any C41's in the pack?

Which is quite a bit annoying, since you would only really need to adjust the simugraph for the increased HP of the C41-8W's AFAIK the rest of the loco is the same.

Yeah, that's something that's been a pet peeve of mine for a past few US freight locos in the past.

Still would be nice to of seen the pack expand to a general 90's Cajon Pass pack than just ATSF, could of added a UP Dash 8 on the side....

On the Facebook page of High Iron Simuation or HIS they said that the GE C41-8W would be there. What I do like is seeing a painting created by someone else of the CN GE C40-8W. I remember that the Canadian Railways bought, I think, all of the BNSF GE C40-8W and awesome Video of Leslie RS3L in CN 2168 old Santa Fe C40-8W

I have not seen anything about that, the only thing they mentioned the C41's were the amount of Dash 8's the ATSF had.

Well , unless they update the sounds to something better,
it will be a big ''no purchase'' for me despite SD40-2 being one of my favorite locomotives
