This 180 kilometers long rail line connects the cities of Köln and Frankfurt, Germany. This route would be another great and long German high speed route for TSW3 with very limited stops like Kassel Würzburg. The ICE3 is obviously gonna be on here, but if DTG had the license, the can add the ICE4. I don't know if regional trains run on here, hopefully not. But yes. A good route with two cities over a hundred miles apart from each other.
I totally support your suggestion and would add the following thoughts: Additionally they could add the regional route from Köln to Siegen, which is about 100km. They could extend the S12, S19 routes, add RB25, which leaves the track at Köln-Trimbornstraße, add RE8 and RB27, which leaves Track at Troisdorf. It would have nice variety of service since some trains are taking the deroute over the Cologne/Bonn Airport. The ICE trains would then leave to the Schnellfahrstrecke to Fankfurt at Siegburg/Bonn while the regional trains continue until Siegen. The track is interesting, has partly only one track, a lot of tunnels, bridges and crossings over the Sieg river. ICE trains could start at Köln Hbf (because passing the Hohenzollern bridge is just fantasytic) or Köln Messe/Deutz, which gives another perspective to this station since the ICE trains have their stop at another level than the regional trains. With Frankfurt as terminal station we would have the interesting underground station of the Frankfurt airport as well as the Frankfurt main station which is just a huge yet beautiful old builduing. Regarding track length DTG should be capable of doing this. The regional route to Siegen is aprox. 100km and the ICE tracks to Frankfurt are aprox. 180km like Kassel-Würzburg.
