We have to be realistic, because then this route would take 5 more years and would cost at least 100€

    Almost two days.
That's how long it took the community to degrade this thread into another immature shouting match.

As a creator, you can never do enough. People always want more, more, more and seem to forget or not know just how much work it is to build a route in the first place. Especially if it is (or started as) a passion project done by one single person. As someone who tried it herself and has given up on it due to time restrictions and frustration, I value and praise anyone who can do this and keep to it until it finally is presentable and playable. Kudos to pilot21 for going on this journey and also the TSG team for all the help they put in! :D

Sure, expanding the route to München would have been neat and would have distinguished this one a bit from Kassel-Würzburg, but just try to imagine how much more workload this would have brought. The München area alone would probably bring as much work as this whole route here needed. Not to mention the impact on performance, mind you.

Sure, completely new rolling stock would have been neat too, but creating a loco/railcar/wagon is a whole different thing than building a route, and requires a totally different set of skills. Plus, which one would you have liked? I can think of a few which fit the route and aren't already in the game... One would be the ICE 4. And considering how much work it is to build one single loco, imagine building a whole ICE train instead. With all the bells and whistles, since the community won't settle for shortcuts. The same goes for the Škoda München-Nürnberg-Express.

Sorry, just had to get this out of my system.
I'm not the greatest highspeed fan around, but I'm looking forward to the route. And the idea of the 101 and IC cab transforming to Expert for those who own the DLC is a great idea I'd like to see more often in the future.
I really enjoy driving the IC cab and this will be a great new opportunity :)

Yeah totally. I'm always shocked how disrespectful some people are about wanting more.

Absolutely true. People immediately think of extensions and whatnot instead of realizing how much work goes in these kinds of projects. I do apologize if I've been forcing my opinion too much, but I've always tried to keep it respectful. I hope we can continue these kinds of discussions, because it's fun (imo) and I like seeing things like this from another perspective.

I hope Pilot21 continues building things for TSW, he seems to have a real talent for it.

    Greetings!
