I'm just wondering, does this just mean diesel traction in general or British diesel traction? Just curious so I can post a relevant screenshot.

This is the only one so far that shows an actual "gala", i.e. a special event where multiple interesting and historic diesels gather together. If this doesn't win, I'll eat my hat. Great submission, Rainfan722. :)

That is a very nice screenshot! I just wish Dovetail would elaborate on "diesel gala." It could mean the event, UK diesels, or just diesels in general.

Well done Railfan722 - what an excellent screenshot. I'm very pleased to see some classic UK diesels - especially the Western Class and the Hymek . Well deserved! :)

This picture brings me nostalgia. At age 7 I had a model of the green hymek on the right. My model railway was on a raised board just above the level of the bed, to one side. As the room wasn't overly large, the model railway had some rather tight curves to complete the circuit. One day I was driving the hymek extremely fast along the edge of the board, and as it reached one of the corners, it flew off the track - going over the edge of the board, it ended up on the floor some distance away... lol.

Despite this little anecdote, for the most part I looked after my things well and this incident was rare enough that it stands out in my memory.
