Every Friday the Dovetail team will be choosing the winner of the previous week's contest, announcing the winners immediately and opening the new week's thread with the new theme. Competition Rules: Limit is 2 screenshots per person; 1 screenshot per post. Include in your post the route the screenshot was taken on. Include the name of the train (if applicable). Screenshots must be in a 16:9 resolution, at least 1920x1080 pixels. Screenshots must fit the theme of the week, as stated at the end of this post. Official content only. Please make sure anything that is not available on the Steam Store or Dovetail Store is not shown in the screenshot. - This means no reshade, repaint mods, track upgrades or workshop routes. Strolling along at a calm 25 MPH one late afternoon in the summer of 1953, an S160 does some branchline work for the New Haven a few miles outside of Windsor Locks. Two weeks after this, the locomotive would be retired and placed in the deadlines with the rest of the New Haven steamers. It met its fate with the torch in October of 1954. In the summer of 1991, Chicago Union Station is quite the beehive of activity. On the far left and right, two Metra commuter trains leave the station in the midst of the morning rush. Amtrak's Southwest Chief leaves Union Station bound for LA right on schedule. To the right of the Southwest Chief, Amtrak's Cardinal arrives several hours behind schedule, after being delayed heavily in the midst of that year's NRHS convention in Huntington, West Virginia. Wow. The more I look at this shot, the more I like it. Very impressive! The quality of these screenshots seems to be getting better and better every week... I can almost imagine being there for real.

Hey folks! Thanks for the entries everyone - some really incredible shots in here and I don;t mind saying I was rooting for some of the underdogs... the votes are now in, both here on the forums and from the team and I'm happy to congratulate Random Railfan for his shot of a P30CH at the beach!
