Dovetail Live Screenshots In The Loading Screen

I haven't got any new screenshots in the loading screen for a while now. The only one I still have is the one from Clinchfield. Then every now and then there is the Advertisement for Rush Hour and the one which Shows me how to make a Screenshot.

Mee too (Series X). To be fair the loading times are so short that not more than those two different screenshots can be displayed at all
But yes- I remember some weeks ago there has been indeed some varation. At least the second one is rush hour now, before it was always the tutorial how to get screenshots on Dovetail Live...

 

Their stuff takes priority over the screenshot contest.

 

True enough, but formerly they had room for all of them: the Railshot screen, one or two adverts, and the four previous contest winners. Now the cycle has apparently been reduced from 6 or 7 to 3.

 

I always get the railshots one.

 

possibly an optimisation already applied? I recall Matt saying on stream the images are held in memory even mid-game.

 

For Windows, the Pictures are stored in C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld2\Saved\LoadingScreens

The latest file is named "TSW_Week17.png" and has the changedate of 8th May 2021

 

Quite so. The files are there; but the loading-screen routine is only showing one of the contest winners alongside the DTG splashes.
