For me, the problem is that as truncated, there is nothing about Dresden now which I find in any way enticing - nothing I don't already have in the six A-B German routes I own (at least RRO and HRR are split-track!). Why should I pay more just to do the same thing with the same trains I can already do in HMA etc etc etc (except without drivable ICEs)?
