    100% very bad FPS on PC High end and not seen such bad FPS Since the release of Hauptstrecke München - Augsburg its clear performance needs to be fixed in a patch asap

    At the end of the Milkshake scenario, please can someone get David Treiber an umbrella? It's really not fair on the chap to let his suit get a soaking waiting for the train to arrive :D

    So that means with this first austria focussed route, they managed to place literally the only 500mhz magnet in the wrong direction ;)

    Some problems that bother me:
    • The performance on my PC is sometimes horrible, although I had already driven all along the route. Even Munich-Augsburg has a better performance on my PC, which is very exotic I think.
    • The Bmz, as well as the Sggrmss and the Shimmns U708 don´t appear in the Formation Designer. In Free Roam, you can select the Bmz but not it´s liveries.
    I hope this will be fixed soon, but I must say that the route is very good and I love the Taurus a lot!:love:

    If you are experiencing performance issues on Semmeringbahn, could you contact Dovetail Support with more specific details, please? There are alot of variables to consider, so it is important to have a complete understanding of the circumstances in which players are experiencing these problems.

    Useful information would include:
    • Services/scenarios issues were observed.
    • Specific locations/times issues were observed.
    • Gameplay videos with frame time/frame rate counters active.
    • Screenshots of in-game graphical settings.
    • A copy of your DxDiag report (contains PC hardware specs and drivers)
    • Are using mods or edited .ini files?
    • Have you forced the game to run in DirectX 12 mode (DirectX 11 by default).

    btw under Funktionen, there is "RailJet Betrieb", but atm it doesnt do anything... figures they might use this in the future maybe?

    The top signals on the ÖBB 4024 are again of no use on this route.

    In the dark you can't see anything with normal light and the high beam has almost no effect.

    The lights are designed to be seen, but they still have the function of illuminating the route. Because you have to be able to see something in the dark.
    Unfortunately, this is by no means the case. The reality is different too, the lights are much brighter!

    The ÖBB 1116 isn't much better either.

    For PC users, the lighting issues (Reading, Clipboard and Engine Room) on the Taurus have all been fixed in my CabCam mod :)

    Why are you asking me that question? The answer is too obvious. I cannot speak for DTG, but doing so for myself is: I do not want to rely on others' goodwill (which it is - what their job is, is nothing we can decide.) ;)

    Of course, DTG can implement the changes themselves, here's the data:

    Semmering only came out recently and fixes take time. Also they've changed the release schedule for patches unless it's something game breaking where it would be patched out quicker

    Good work like this makes me think there needs to be a hotline/WhatsApp group/whatever of DTG devs and modders, so that fixes like this can be incorporated into the patch cycle for all users, and not just we lucky PC owners who benefit from modders' work.

    Assuming there isn't such a thing already, of course.:)

    Timetable ÖBB 4024 Service CJX9 (2904) 5:26
    Stuck at red signal SBL Al12 72.5 km. Waited 30 minutes. Two trains in front. First train stuck at red shunting signal V112R 74.6 km before Gloggnitz.

    What modders do and what dtg does would be very different from each other. When lm made the skymod back in the day as a mod, it took dtg a really long time to figure out how to do it using their own tools and techniques to eventually implement it to preserved content. What lm did didn't work for dtg so they had to find a brand new way of making it possible.

    Clearly not everything, judging by Spikee1975 post above. And I did say "fixes like this", i.e. ones where, and I quote, "DTG can implement the changes themselves".

    It's the way we're doing it that's different, since the modders don't have access to uncooked files.

    Part 2 under the post here

    • Missing information on the elevators in Wiener Neustadt
    • Missing platform information in Neukirchen, Niederösterreich
    • Ternitz Missing mileage board?
    • Ternitz Missing station, name
    • Pottschach
    • The kilometer board is missing on the opposite track to Wiener Neustadt.
    • Kilometer 76 3/issue, behind this board it goes directly to 77 4.
    • Issue with the kilometer boards towards Mürzzuschlag/Zwischen Gloggnitz and Payerbach Reichenau. There is a problem with the kilometer count/It's completely mixed up/the kilometer boards apparently need to be checked again on the section from Gloggnitz to Payerbach Reichenau/youtube link:
    • Information about the kilometer boards is missing in the tunnel
    • Missing station, name in Wolfsberg kogel
    • Tunnel exit from the Semmering floating bush on the tunnel wall at the kilometer, board 105.1
    • Steinhaus Fehler neben dem Gleisbett In the direction of Mürzzuschlag. A station object lies in the grass.
    • Spital am Semmering on the platform in the direction of Mürzzuschlag there is an error with the station information sign in the direction of Wiener Neustadt on the opposite track on the platform there is another error with a station information sign

    well, route knowledge helps a lot in this case - up to Payerbach Reichenau it is a speedy affair, once past that station, expect a disco (a lot of different lights) lol

    It's such a pity. The route has "We ran out of time™" written all over it. The more you explore, the more -----> :(

    After Salzburg-Rosenheim I was inclined to give DTG a better quality credit rate. But they always manage to disappoint royally.

    Hi All, thought I'd have a go at the I Need A Hero scenario with the 1116. At the start of the scenario I got permission to attach to the freight in front. On passing the signal (red + two white lights) I kept PZB Befehl pressed, as you do. But then the woman saying Zugbeeinflussung wouldn't shut up, stuck on continual repeat announcing. Tried turning safety systems on / off to no avail. Also tried physics reset to no avail.
    How can I resolve this, please? (Steam/PC)

    just press the pzb override again, it's a toggle switch in this train and she keeps repeating it.

    ooooh, so thats why I was getting penalty brakes on some signals on Rosenheim, doing EC service from Rosenheim... got 2x PZB 1000 Hz penalty brakes even though I was at 80 and the 1000 Hz countdown was still going... I got down to 80, thought it was fine to release the brakes a bit and bam, penalty brakes, as the system was clearly expecting me to slow down to 60 or so

    or sometimes I would be at 0 throttle, and e-brake would be doing sth, so this could also be related to what you say somehow... hmm

    gotta do that service again :) it has been some time since I managed to get even one penalty brake in a run, let alone two... will see if it was cos of me being overly confident, or missed sth, or if PZB is somehow more strict in Taurus

    No idea if it's prototypical. but it keeps the speed limit to the PZB limit. when starting a service and leaving a station you can put it at line speed but it will start on PZB wachsam and keep limit at 40 untill wachsam ends. I like using the roadrunner in the loco although without a physical button I have no idea if it even has it. for slowing down it's a bit weird to put the AFB to 80 as soon as you acnowledge. going into Freilassing for example. going 160 I know what's coming and brake for the signal a bit earlier with electric brake. going 135 or so though langsamfahrt erwarten. and immediately as I acnowledge the cruise goes to 80. train brakes like it's going mad and I wheelslip through the rain. in the end of the trip I see I got overspeeding AP penalty for that too. sounds like a bug never to be fixed but eh still platinum medal.

    Edit: on that EC 113 service where I departed with +5 almost because for some reason the RB that was very far away was let in front of me as it entered Rosenheim. I also lost the tone ladder accelleration. I had it at Rosenheim and Priem am Chiemssee. but at Traunstein and Freilassing it was gone. I hope that's a bug also acnowledged and to be fixed. maybe some news in the coming roadmap since acnowledging bugs isn't the best in the forums so I suppose we all gotta keep asking 70 times

    yesterday I was playing EC, direction from Rosenheim, and got PZB penalty brakes before Traunstein and then before Freilassing... I saw from the HUD speed reduction is coming, but I waited till the sign was visible and since it is Taurus, I was like, I dont need to brake that hard, especially with stronger e-brake (Funktionen - E-Bremse Erhohung)... and I am not sure why I got the penalty - usually it is enough to get under 80 and do the rest a bit later... will test it today, maybe it was just me being sleepy and not paying enough attention

    If I remember correctly, there is the signalled speed reduction, which you acknowledged but then there is a separate Lf6 Kz7, which also needs to be acknowledged. If you don’t do that you get penalty stopped.

    you mean the one where there is green/yellow (vertical) and right below there is double yellow? like 80, 40 incoming? hmm... could be I either forgot to acknowledge the second thing or acknowledged it too late... there was sth Zeit... blabla :D

    Yes, sort of. I mean that the advanced signal tells you to reduce to 60, this needs to be acknowledged, which you did, I think. A couple of hundred meters later, though, there is a speed board that tells you that the speed in the main track (if the signal would not have told you to reduce even further, as you are leaving the main track) will reduce to 70. This also needs to be acknowledged, even though it’s not really valid for you.

    ah, ok, checked manual for German signalling and yeah, you are probably right... I forgot that the double yellow requires no more than 65 kmh and subsequent slowdown to 45... that could have been what caused at least one of those two penalty brakes :)

    edit: I might have been too complacent, like yeah, lets go down to 80 and wait for another board, not thinking that some reductions arent showed by board/number :D well :D will do another run today and see how I do :D

    Unfortunately my first exitement about this point has cooled down quite a bit... As it turns out, "SG" is also displayed when you are in a single loco formation:(

    For all not sure what I am talking about. The "SG" should only be displayed when in multi tracktion and the slave loco is slipping:

    Missing station names have been added as part of the update, but in Semmering and Payerbach station they are mostly not centered on the board. It's not essential, but it doesn't look cool ;)

    And one more note.....

    At the station St. Egyden there is no sign with the name of the station at platform 1, there are, I suspect, two at platform 2

    2000ton Wood train from Mürzzuschlag to Wien. The vectron can handle it ;). Probably the other direction this will need a 3rd push locomotive at the end.

    I really expect DTG to sort out the substitution problem, its obvious there is clearly a huge messup with tsw 4. They can pretend its nothing, but that problem is a game killer for me.

    Also in NTP, the oldest of all old dlcs, static stock has also substitution. For some reason DTG managed to get rid off this feature as well. No vectrons on the depot, not a single vectron spawned at this semmering dlc. Not acceptable DTG!

    meridian#2659, I recently, and posted a link, to a fan video takes around Summering station. With really heavy trains they were putting 3 locomotives on the head end, no pushers at the back noted. I seem to remember an earlier post in this thread saying the issue with the Vectron was the first selection in the Vectron selection screen which only includes one service. This needed to be removed for substitution to work properly.
