On this run, you are told you’ll be refuelling the locomotive before coupling to the Newspaper train. You are directed to stop at the fuelling point, but you are not asked to refuel. Instead you’re just told to couple up to the train. I don’t know if this is a bug, but if you’re supposed to refuel the locomotive, why don’t we have to do it? BR Class 40 Also, when leaving the yard, you get shown a 25mph speed limit on the HUD, but the limit is 20mph and the red dot of the speedometer within the HUD remains at 20mph.
There are no refuelling prompts in timetable mode because the AI trains can’t refuel, and they follow the same instructions as the player. Matt has explained it that when you get to the fuel stop you should know that you have to refuel because you are there even though there is no instruction to do so. The refuelling is just pretend anyway so it makes no difference if you actually get out and do it or not. So it’s not a bug but it is something they could improve. A refuelling task that is actually just a timed wait would do the job. For the player the text tells you to refuel but for both the player and the AI train it’s just really a wait for a short period of time, so the AI can’t get confused.
