Greetings, Baits to use! -Arapaiama – Deadbaits are your best bet for arapaiama, especially when you are trying to catch those monstrous 560lb trophy fish. Equip a size two hook and you will be able to select one of the six deadbaits. -Redtail Catfish – Redtail catfish are also fans of the deadbaits. -Mekong Catfish – Mekong aren't very likely to take a deadbait but the large and double sweetcorn can work wonders when you are trying to catch them. -Siamese Carp – Experiment with the different 18-20mm boilies for the Siamese carp to see what is best for you. Tiger nuts can also be succesful for them. -Black Pacu – Although related to the piranha, the black pacu mainly feeds on plant material. Sweetcorn and tiger nuts are most likely to bring succes when catching them. -A Silt bed provides a good supply of blood worms for hungry carp. (On Silt / Blood Worm, Small, Live, Sink). -Every species will take the boilies and tiger nuts when you have a size 2 hook equipped. The common carp in the lake will take hooks smaller then size 2. Caught my Arapaima (548 lbs) using CR Special - Strawberry & Cream Boilie with a #2 Krank Rig. Also caught a 408 lbs Arapaima using the same setup.
