In Moscow district trains move back when overshoot a platform. One time when I ride on EMU it overshoot platform by 3-4 cars out of 10. Driver apologised and crawled back to the correct position. so in TSW I always act similarly (mostly play German routes where platforms quite large), just move back at speed of 4-5 km/h
I quite like the system in Diesel Railcar simulator, where the doors will open randomly on their own if you're stopped at a station, and it's up to the guard to make sure they're all closed rather than the driver. The TSW/TSC system works for DOO doors though. I would really like to see random opening doors on all slam door stock in TSW as it would be much more realistic.
Personally, I would like to have an auto-guard/conductor handle the doors on trains that operate that way IRL; as driver you would merely wait for his signal that all is secure. Also nice would be German train doors that operate prototypically, i.e. the driver unlocks them, but passengers open them as required, and they are closed depending on the unit either by a timer, or by the guard manually. They don't open all the doors wide and leave them letting the cold and wet in!
