After running around in the north of the Netherlands I think it would be very intresting Idea to make a map about the South-east of Netherlands, the reason I think it would be a nice edition to game is because there are a lot of diverse services that you could play on this map on relatively small section of the Netherlands and not only that but it would also showcase some of the hillsides of the Netherlands instead the flat country side that the Netherlands is Known for. Maybe this is a bit to grand to put all in one map but these are the services I had in mind: - IC Service Eindhoven centraal - Maastricht - IC Service Eindhoven centraal - Heerlen - SPR Service Eindhoven centraal - Weert - Stopping train service Roermond - Maastricht Randwyk - Stopping train/IC Service Maastricht - Heerlen - Cargo operations Eindhoven - Chemelot - Stopping Train Sittard - Kerkrade (ending in Heerlen) For the trains that would be Availeble for this route I would suggest the following trains: VIRM IV/VI , VIRMm 4 NS Stadler FLIRT 3 Arriva Stadler FLIRT 2 Arriva GTW-E DB Baureihe 189 Other great option would be if you take the setting from around 2014, In this case the MAT-64, DB Serie 1600 and the DB mak 6400 would be also running around in this area. A general map of the Dutch railnetwork but try to focus on the south-east part
My preference for the next Dutch route would be something in the southern highlands of the country. Maybe a Maastricht/Heerlen/Roermond network-style route. .
