Dlc: I think a good idea for a dlc for tsw3 would be a 4f steam loco that done stopping passenger services, pick up Frieght services and shunting on Liverpool Lime Street - Crewe. Update: A good idea to update Liverpool Lime Street - Crewe would be to add the refueling process to the loco preparation services that are on the route.
I could be possibel has on the west Somerset railway route you unlock an mastery rewards With an class 4f on an back of a truck so they have an pre-existing model.
If there were SoS dlcs I could add they would be: LMS Stanier Black 5 LMS Coronation Class LMS 7P (Royal Scot) Class.
For the next update they should really fix the fireman shoveling coal into the firebox and I know it's a bug in the game they have to correct but it looks unrealistic when the firemen or firewomen shoveling thin air into the firebox.
I tend to agree that before we have any more steam locos, the core needs to be tweaked and the oddities introduced with TSW3 attended to. They also need to fix the erroneous SPADs which pretty much break every freight movement starting north from Gresty. I would imagine a Black Five is odds on favourite if a further DLC appears as it has so many applications elsewhere. Maybe also take the opportunity to add some older ex LMS coaching stock, or some non corridor suburban stock. Personally I would actually like to see a 2-6-2 or 2-6-4 tank engine, either the LMS original or BR Standard version. Again lots of places they could be put to use on future routes.
So far, I haven't been able to find any full-route stopping service. Looks like the current selection of trains never really did those. Any new loco that would offer full-route stopping services would be a welcome addition IMO.
4f and Black 5 locomotive. The black five can do both freight and passenger service. For freight a fish wagon homage to Thomas and Friends Henry flying kipper. Black 5 gets the creators club henry treatment same way as Salty being a DB Baureihe 363 rangierlok Daisy the Class 101 dmu Diesel 10 Class 52. Since you can add face to the diesels
I think like mentioned above a 2-6-4 or 2-6-2 standard tank for suburban services would be nice and a good old jinty for some shunting and light freight/passenger services.
Personally, I’d love to see more steam locos but with 2nd Valve - the locos just done have enough bark to make them realistic.
Engines that I absolutely love to see for SoS are: STEAM LMS Princess Royal - Express Passenger BR Standard Class 7 - Mixed Traffic BR Standard Class 4 Tank - Commuter Services LMS 3F Jinty - Shunting LMS Black 5 - Mixed Traffic LMS Royal Scot (Re-built) - Express Passenger DIESEL BR Class 08 - Shunting BR Class 20 - Freight BR Class 31 - Mixed Traffic BR Class 40 - Mixed Traffic BR Class 03 / 04 - Shunting
