Nice catch, looks very different with one to many Y-Profile. Maybe DTG Alex can confirm if they can fix this?
Try searching up the exact title of the video on youtube: "Train driver's pov Amsterdam-Deventer 2018 Whistle"
Just a few more days to go, super excited for this one! Dont expect every little thing to be accurate, the second dutch route (if it is coming) will surely fix a lot of realism related issues such as the OHLE.
Well we can probably extend a little bit of latitude with this one. Also, personally being on PC/Steam there will be a few hours lead in during which the console players will be posting their initial feedback to serve as a guide to whether the route is worth a Day One purchase.
Is this route actually going to be engaging and have lots of replay value? I’m really excited to try out the koploper and new safety systems, but I’m not sure if the route will be that fun to drive over and over again which I want to be able to do for £333
Oh, our trains are very different. Not something you'll be used too. I very much think it's worth it since NS is VERY Cooperative (which will probably link to its quality xd) and we get 2 trains + 1 db vectron locomotive that's updated with atb and dutch train cabin announcements and language. Also included is conductor mode and bicycles along the road and much more. So i will definitely buy it at release.
That’s cool, my only concern is that the route might feel a bit bland and repetitive because so much of it is a straight line
What always interests me as a transport engineer is that Zwolle is one of the prime examples of what is called a "knooppuntdienstregeling" (which would freely translate to hub timetable). Around 10 past the hour (or 40) there are eleven trains coming into the station, which then comes alive with people changing trains, and around 20 past the hour (or 50) they all leave again. One of the first things I'll probably do is spawn on foot at Zwolle and watch the trains come in and go
Really looking forward to tomorrow nights stream and l am sure that l will be buying this on Tuesday. Cannot see any reason why not to!!!
While of course not everything is going to be perfect right off of the bat, having the 'it's not that deep' mentality is an incredible dangerous one, yes we can appreciate the stuff they got right for sure, I think it's also important to point out the stuff they got wrong, even if it seems minor to some, the overhead wires are something you will be seeing at basically every single moment you are driving, if no one points these things out it will allow standards to drop, which is something no one wants. So yes, of course it's great we're getting our first Dutch route, i'm definitely picking it up at release, we should not dismiss criticism of the stuff they got wrong, telling people to 'go outside' helps no one.

https://www.timeanddate.com/countdo...25T11&p0=16&msg=Zwolle-Groningen&font=cursive just 23 hours also, hopefully we'll be able to go in the doorloopkop ruimte (walkthrough head space) and the conductor cabin
Definitely welcome all the constructive feedback to help us understand how we can improve for future routes. I'd love to make more Dutch content and I think for our first route the team have done a marvellous job - however as a train enthusiast myself I know for sure there will be details that have been missed and it will be good and very welcome to get that feedback from you as you see it and play it. Just to confirm, there won't be any changes to OHLE for this release as that's a sizeable task, but the point is one that we can take into any potential future projects along with other feedback. Thanks Matt.
Matt! Thanks for the answer! I personally do not mind the OHLE wires, since that is such a small detail, and my dutch self cares more about the trains and stations. Looking at the project, it looks fantastic and everyone is hyped! We'll provide the feedback you need and most of us (like me) will buy it on release!! I want to be the first buyer LOL
While you guys enjoy your first run, those of us using Steam will wait until early afternoon EST in the US and later in Europe to get our first crack at it.
I really do not think so much. Consoles have their own set of issues which we will be hearing about, none of these really have any bearing on how the dlc will perform on my pc. Things like the incorrect catenary support structure don't bother me in the least, so also, have no bearing on my decision to buy or not.
checked the articles and I think I will be able to drive those runs without penalties ... kinda looks like more PZB but with almost UK kind of benevolence ... I will surely do the tutorials first, then jump right in the passenger stuff
anyway, just went over the ATB article, and one thing I dont understand fully... lets say in German system (PZB), you usually have a sign letting you know of upcoming restriction, and sometimes a magnet as well... in UK, sometimes you have a sign letting you know, more often just AWS beeping... so my question is - what and how does let you know that a speed restriction is coming? like, how far in advance are you notified of an upcoming change? ... maybe I just havent read it well enough, dunno
I agree with you!. But please consider, if DTG does not fix a "simple issue"... like the panto graph height, on the BR 193 Vectron - , does not match the one of the wires...,being one of the most important locomotives of the modern era of the game, - and it is noticeable from the outside of the locomotive, it is difficult to expect that.
