    Hello everyone,

    I’m still quite new to Steam and Train Sim World 6. Yesterday, I was able to play TSW6 through Steam without any problems.

    However, today when I try to launch TSW6 through Steam, I get an error message.

    Couldn't start:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 6\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Binaries\Win64\TrainSimWorld.exe"
    TS2Prototype
    CreateProcess() returned 11c7.

    Is this a known issue? Does anyone know what might be causing it and how I can fix it? Or could this be related to a recent update?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance.

    There I am again!

    I did some more searching and also asked a few different sources about it. One suggestion I received was to add the following folder as an exclusion in Windows Defender:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 6

    And that actually worked!

    I’m not sure why this is suddenly necessary, since the game worked perfectly fine yesterday without this exclusion. But at least the game is working again now, so I’m happy with that!
