Quote from the patch note post from the latest update [UI – Console] On PS4, the ‘RB’ button can now be used to in the pause menu to get the settings menu. First of all, the PS4 controller doesn't have a RB button. It has a R1 and a R2 button. Furthermore, I thought (and hoped) this meant that we could access settings with 1 button push from the pause menu, which is something the game needs very much. But I see absolutely no difference to how it was before the update. Still have to push L1 three of four times from the pause menu before you get to settings...
