Baureihe 57.10-35 (prussian G10) for freight services

I once lived not far off the Darßbahn and would like to see the route ingame as well but... Apart of the actual era and steam loco suggestion (which is a huge topic on its own), there are so many difficulties with this route (although there are also a few pros - the amount of services for such a small branch line for example).

Most importantly is you don't even find sufficient information for it put in modern times, let alone any older era and you would need an older era to get the most interesting part onto the island (Barth-Prerow) with it.

Velgast-Barth (in modern or DR times) could be doable but who would want that part alone? For 2002-2019 and up to 2017 where the services run between Barth and Stralsund (not only to Velgast), DTG would need a UBB license and I guess if acquiring a UBB license would be possible, they rather would do the Usedomer Bäderbahn railway directly.

To be honest, I see the biggest opportunity for the route not in the past nor the present but the future, when DB will (if it really works out as planned) activate the then new built branch part onto the island in 2028.

Rostock-Stralsund might be more likely, but I think if DTG ever decides to do a baltic route for TSW, they either would do a TSW version of their previously released Sassnitz-Stralsund or Kiel-Lübeck TSC route releases.
