When creating a timetable, it would be helpful if you could give instructions to change the driver's cab. Very helpful if, for example, you drive into a end track and the journey continues in the other direction.

I think there is this instruction when creating a scenario, but I didn't find it when creating a timetable. Or did I miss this instruction?

If you want drivers (player or AI) to switch cabs, end the service and start a new one.

I just tried this with a very simple timetable and the first service ended by sending me back into the menu instead of simply triggering the second service which I had tagged onto the first End of Service. I’m still very much a TT novice and interested in finding out more about this but without going too deep.

What menu exactly? You should be able to choose "return to free roam" and continue.

Yes you are right, that’s the menu I was thinking of.
I was hoping there might be a way of continuing the timetable without interruption and somehow getting an instruction on screen to “change ends” for the return journey. I’m guessing that’s more of a Scenario thing.

The issue with changing ends within a service is the AI won't change ends and will drive backwards.

It's probably an AI problem in the timetable mode.
But I have already received this instruction several times in scenarios. But in the scenario the train is always driven by the player.
