Hello I'm french and I've been playing Train Simulator for 8 years now and contrary to the English, German or American ones, DTG made ONLY ONE French line in Train Simulator and it was a LGV. It's already that but it's not very interesting at the game-play level. That's why I propose some lines that would have their place in TS : Line from Paris-Est to Mulhouse-Ville (the line is almost 500 kms long so you don't have to do the whole line ! The Paris-Troyes section would be very nice, for example). I'll give you the link of the line on Wikipedia : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris-Est–Mulhouse-Ville_railway The line from Irun to Dax (up to brodeaux) : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bordeaux–Irun_railway The whole French community is begging you, please make one or more French lines !!! We really lose hope ! You make a lot of lines for all the countries around France, except France. PLEASE DTG WE REALLY NEED IT !!! shellier
French routes and other things here. https://www.railsim-fr.com/forum/ And here. http://ajrailsim.free.fr/
Oui je sais, seulement elles sont toutes connues les maps de ce site, je les ait déjà toutes et puis il n'y a que DTG qui fait des lignes de 200-300 kms
Currently DTG has an agreement with SNCF to use their logo on the TGV trains Only. Unless that changes nothing as Payware will be released Peter
Logos are not a problem, just make trains (NOT TGV !!!) without logos. Please DTG, make French lines ! For pity's sake !
Logos ARE a problem. DTG is not going to make any train that it does not have a license for. When WCML over Shap was made the route and stations were all set in the mid 2000 but because DTG did not have a license for Virgin Trains they could only release the route with 1980s stock - BR Blue. Why not contact Atlantic High Speed as they made the Paris Montparnasse to St-Pierre-des-Corps route so they understand French Signalling. Peter
I don't see what this has to do with JustTrains... We just don't even ask you to make trains, because we're not going to hide it, the only two trains you've ever made for us are neither made nor to be made. We are simply asking you to make, as you did for the Germans, the British or the Americans, MAPS. For the trains, the French community can take care of it. And if you make trains, again, the French community can make free patches to include logos on your trains.
So what would DTG get out of building a French Route? It would cost them time and money to research and then build the route but they cannot sell it because it won't have any trains. The French Community have already released a large number of routes - what is wrong with them? https://www.rwcentral.com/files/file/192-dole-vallorbe-partie-1/ https://www.rwcentral.com/files/file/141-perpignan-cerbère-le-boulou/ https://www.rwcentral.com/files/file/150-la-rochelle-surgères/ And why are you talking about Just Trains? They did not Build the AHS Paris to Tours route - they just Published It. Peter
You can't sell a line without trains? Sell it with one of the TGV you have built and even if it is a classic line, it doesn't matter. And then you don't say that there are third party sites when it's the British, the Germans or the Americans who ask you for a line, you immediately make the line.
Why don't you suggest a Route to DTG that they could build and the TGV could be used on. If you don't give them any ideas they won't build it. Why do DTG build a lot of British and German routes -because they have a License to use the trains and logos. No Licence and by law DTG can not build and Sell something. Which is why you can do it with Freeware because no money changed hands. You could ask SimExpress if they will build a route - https://www.simexpress.fr/ Or even Rivet Games - https://www.rivet-games.com/ Peter
All right. All right, all right. Can you do the SEA HSL (this one would be really great): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGV_Sud_Europe_Atlantique Or the North High Speed Line: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGV_Nord (with the connection of the Eastern Interconnection High Speed Line): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGV_Interconnexion_Est Or the South-East LGV (with the TGV PSE): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGV_Sud-Est Or the GLP LGV with "the comma" of Sablé-sur-Sarthe: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGV_Bretagne-Pays_de_la_Loire (and possibly as far as Angers) Even if we already have an LGV, if these are the only lines you can do, we will accept them with great pleasure. Or an extension of the High Speed One from Ebbsfleet to Ashford as there is already London Ebbsfleet and Just Trains is preparing Ashford-Lille but Ebbsfleet-ashford does not exist. You could make an extension of the existing add-on ( More if you do the North High Speed Line, it would be possible to do the WHOLE Paris-London trip ! ). Simeon.H
LGV Atlantique would be better made by Atlantic High Speed as they have built the first section from Paris to Tours We need to see when Ashford to Lille Europe is released if the Signalling is the same as the DTG London to Ebbsfleet (Faversham) In the real world they are the same TVM 430 but it the game they might be different. The TGV from Paris - Tours does not see the TVM on the Avignon - Marseille Route. Peter
Ok. So can you make the LGV Sud-Est or North (with the lgv eastern interconnection) ? Siméon.H The HS1 is equipped with the TVM 430 so you can made Ashford-Ebbsfleet beacuse it's the same for Marseille-Avignon. And the same for the LGV North and LGV eastern interconnection
The TVM on HS1 is the same as the TVM on the Lyon - Marseille route - both route were made by the same company - DTG But the TVM on the Paris - Tours was made by Atlantic High Speed to a different design The Duplex will not see the TVM on Paris - Tours and the TGV Atlantique off Paris - Tours won't see the TVM on other routes. If Atlantic High Speed uses TVM to it's design on Ashford - Lille then it would be pointless joining it to London to Faversham And you keep saying "can you make" - nothing to do with me. Peter
I know all this, there's no point in telling us all this. We just want you to do french lines or ebbsleet-ashford lines and that's it. Don't beat around the bush.
No point in me telling you something as you don't seem to be able to READ "We just want you to do......" Nothing to do with ME I am a Game Player Like you I do not work for DTG Peter
This is a suggestion forum and people specify a route from A to B Like this https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/french-alps-ligne-de-la-maurienne.17051/ How much of it DTG takes notice of I do not know. Peter
Okay. So I propose a line for French for DTG. It's the LGV Nord. This line connects from Paris - Gare du nord, the north of France here is the Wikipedia link in English, normally. This line starts from the Gare du Nord, here is a picture of it: Gare du nord is the second busiest station in europe The line starts in the north of the Ile de France (TGVs take the conventional line for about 20 km). The line then continues to the Haute-Picardie TGV station (station on the LGV). Here is the Wikipedia link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gare_TGV_Haute-Picardie The Line ends at Lille-Flandres station. Another LGV would have to be built with this one (one does not go without the other): The LGV Interconnection East. This very small LGV breaks away from the LGV Nord shortly before its end, direction Paris. It only serves 2 Stations: Charles-De-Gaule Airport Station 2 - TGV and further south, Marne-la-Vallée - Chessy Station - TGV which serves Disneyland Park, Europe's leading destination. This line ends in the south, on the lgv Est, which, if you feel like it, would have a very good place in the game. Here is the link of this LGV: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGV_Interconnexion_Est. There are many other lines to fire but if this one (or/and the SEA LGV or/and the South-East LGV) were created we would be grateful. It is also possible to make classic lines, departing from Lille, classic lines used by the TGV, such as the Arras - Valenciennes line (this one would be very nice), or the Lille -Tourcoing line (shorter but also pleasant). Even if you only do the LGV, it would be almost Obligatory (without ordering you of course ;-) to make the North and South connection of the LGV to Arras, station served fairly frequently by TGV Thank you for reading this message and I hope that soon we will see some nice French lines in the Train Simulator shop. See you soon! Simeon.H
LGV Interconnexion Est from Lille europe to Lyon Par dieu with TGV Duplex and TGV ressau high speed trains
