Sorry guys, I have since found out how to do it. I hadn't realised that enhancement packs are stored in the original folder for the stock.

One problem with swapping normal with AP stock is the extra letters in the makeup of the loco or units number.

For my RSC Class 86 the number is say 86637 -
The AP version needs lot of extras at the end to say if it had MU/TDM/Nameplate. 86637;J=2;SB=1;GSMR=1
Having swapped the stock go in the the Scenario and have a look to see that it is displayed correctly.

Or swap the locos/stock in the scenario

Using that example, I presume all extras are optional? I think the 37 is specifically scripted, but does the 86 share that type of scripting? What does the AP one look like without the extra info on, say, 86637?

That said, converting from AP to generic is easy; remove the extras.

The Class 37s are AP locos and need the scripting but the Class 86 is an Enhancement pack of the RSC 86.
Just having the loco number gives you the default Class 86 with patches on the front where the MU cables should be
