Thanks for telling me about that. For the Modern EMU IC FFS services, you might be looking for Rabe 502 tilting IC train instead of Re460 IC
I guess it's true - on the SBB website they have a handy "our trains" page which indicates what trains they have and where they operate, and I noticed some IC services are operated by their RABe 501 trainsets, which are manufactured by Stadler, if there is enough commonality in cab and physics between it and the Flirt it could give me a little hope. Defintely not expecting it, but if there is it would be a pleasant surprise. I still think that the bulk of the IC services are actually done by the IC2000 (RE460 push-pulls) and the RABe 502 (as pointed out by driverwoods) but it wouldn't surprise me to see the wrong IC, IMO better than nothing, I'm sure someone disagrees. Honestly I don't known, I am expecting only the Flirt but I'm optimistic. Let's wait and see.
IIRC Luzern is a mix of Push pull rakes, Pendolinos (both ICN and 'New') and Flirts. There are also BLS units (NINA, MUTZ and Lotschberger), SOB FLIRTS (these now run the service over the old Gotthard) + the Zentralban Narrow Gauge services (which are surprisingly intensive with 6 trains per hour split between valley locals and the longer distance rack services to Engelberg and Interlaken)
Speaking of Pendolino Tilting trains SBB CFF FFS have these types double decker Rabe 502 Rabe 503 Germany Austria PZB LZB Sifa 15kv 16.7hz 1.95m pantographs Carbon strip RS4 SCMT 1.45m pantographs copper contact strips Italy capable domestic services only Rabe 500
Yes its a very old Thread, but to be honest i just realised now the pantographs for the sbb net are working actually . Just need to select the sbb net, it still will show DB but the panto selection has changed.
