Switching / Shunting Activities In Tsw 2020 :: Nec New York

This is the first part of a series that will cover all of the TS/TSW routes that I have purchased.

Switching / Shunting Activities in TSW (2020 & 2)
{Routes are listed in the order in which they appear in the latest TSW2 interface.}

TSW 2020: NEC New York

Scenarios:

1. 10:22 Terminal Switch (40)
From Oak Point Yard, take a cut of box cars over to Hunts Point Terminal. Once there bring back a consist of mixed cars.

2. 10:35 Trash Collector (35)
Starting out at Osk Point Yard, run some trash empties out to Harlem Terminal and drop them off before hauling a loaded cut back.

3. 08:00 New York Switcher (60)
Free switching in the yards of New York.

Timetable:

1. 06:30 F02-3 Short Run to Oak Point Yard (15)
Run Back to Oak Point Yard to stable the locomotives.

2. 06:50 F03-1 Oak Point Yard – Harlem River Terminal (10)
Head down to Harlem River Yard, another set of Trash Cars are loaded up and ready to come back to Oak Point for later transfer.

3. 07:10 F03-2: Harlem River Terminal – Oak Point Yard (10)
Bring these loaded Trash Cars up to Oak Point Yard.

4. 07:35 F03-3 Stable at Oak Point Yard (5)
Stable your locomotive

5. 07:35 F04-1 Gather the Trash (15)
Join two cuts of Trash Cars together for transfer to Fresh Ponf Junction

6. 10:20 F05-1 Stable at Oak Point Yard (5)
Stable the locomotives that have just arrived with a Manifest train from the Hudson Sub

7. 10:50 F06-1: Manifest Switching – Cutting Cars (120)
Switch cars from a Manifest train onto different tracks

8. 13:05F07-1: Manifest Switching – Deliver the Cars (120)
Switch cars from various tracks to their destinations, including running some cars to Hunts Point and bringing empties back.

9. 15:40 F08-2 Stable at Oak Point Yard (5)
Stable the locomotives in Oak Point Yard

10. 18:05 F09-1: Prepare the empties (5)
Prepare a train of trash cars ready for onward transit to Harlem River Terminal.

11. 18:35 F10 -1: Couple to Fresh Pond Manifest (10)
Bring the locomotives to the head of a Manifest train heading to Fresh Pond Junction.

12. 19:10 F10-3: Switching at Fresh Pond Junction (5)
While the return train is being ser out, move the locomotives out of the way until the local switcher completes its work.

13. 19:20 F11-1: Switching at Fresh Pond Junction (30)
PART 1 A Manifest train has arrived from Oak Point, bring it down to the East Yard in two cuts and then take a cut back up …

14. 19:30 F11-2: Switching at Fresh Pond Junction (30)
PART 2 (of above)

15. 20:20 F11-3: Switching at Fresh Pond Junction (30) Same as 13 later in the evening.

16. 21:05 F10-4 Couple to the Northbound Manifest train (5)
Now that the return train is ready, move the locomotives to the head of the consist and couple up, ready to go.

17. 21:35 F10-6: Stable Locomotives at Oak Point Yard (5)
Move the locomotives to the stabling track.
