It's hardly a scam as you can see what you are getting. Some just like to use buzz words like that in the wrong context.

 

Maybe because the Beta Team was disbanded after the WCMLs leaks and DTG have been relying on "Ambassadors" and "PlayTester Sessions" to fill the void. Jan even said on the LiveStream that there was a playtest back in December 2025 of Tadami.

 

Maybe that's it then. I would have thought someone would have noticed.

I find it is the one thing stopping me driving older stock as the lack of suspension is very noticeable.

Personally I think they should strive to retrofit it to older trains. Someone in the community managed to.

Given it’s taken them four years to do a relatively simple rural route, I wouldn’t hold your breath! And their Tokyo route in TSC had (has) massive performance issues in places, down to a stuttering crawl at some of the more built up and busiest locations. The grail for me would be something like the Yamanote Line or New Tokkaido, but sadly I just don’t think UW would be up to that challenge.

It’s funny because I’ve found myself getting more and more into Bus Sims these days and much less TSW. Fernbus isn’t the greatest of bus sims but the New England expansion DLC looks pretty decent. And then there’s also the upcoming London DLC for “the bus” too. Haven’t even downloaded the free starter pack for TSW this year neither…. I’ll just buy these routes on a good sale. No rush waiting for sales neither. Happens when it happens.

All of this doesn't sound too good... NO SUSPENSION IN A TSW7 ROUTE RELEASE is diabolical. That is hilarious. There's just no standards for what gets released.

Personally I can't even drive trains that lack suspension anymore... Not entirely relevant to the thread but I wish someone would add it to the 710.

Yes that was based on what people were saying before the price confirmed, but still not worth it.

Very disappointing. I wanted to get this but just not up to standards

 

I don't think performance will be such a big issue this time around because it's a single track route with not a great deal going on to drag down the framerates. What might be an issue though is the way in which trees constantly shape-shift on X|S. Tadami has an awful lot of them and things might get a bit ugly in denser areas.....especially on a sunny day in winter.
I'd have hoped by now that we'd have been given the option to completely disable lighting & shadow effects because they've never looked particularly great on consoles (those short draw distances and flickering shadows look really poor) and not having them should also improve both looks and performance.

 

There were positives, but as often the negatives, of which there are a few are the only things talked about.

It isn't a bad looking route by any stretch of the imagination.
