This would make TSW really stand out as a Sim, I got the idea from OMSI 2 bus simulator which is an excelent training simulator how to drive a bus due to it's extensive lessons and training. So what the idea is is to either expand or create an additional scenario that follows up from the locomotive introduction scenario. For example there's the Class 47 Intro where you are talked through by a voice and visual aid how to start up (very basic) the loco and move it. It's pretty short and it dosen't feel like it's truly testing you. So to make the learning factor is there what OMSI 2 did is on the same scenario and it refreshed in game setting everything back and then it told me to re-do everything as I did before but with little assistance from the man speaking to me. It was very rewarding for me to do that on my own.
