I can make a short clip but have none on hand. As far as the z-fighting, Idk what all causes it but im pretty sure camera distance or angle can produce it. That doesnt seem to matter though. Specifically thinking about the f40ph and ac4400 exterior paint flickering. Ive tried all sorts of things from every tv setting I can find, no xbox hdr, camera angles, cycling camera (inside to outside quickly), reinstalling each dlc and playtesting in between etc. Havent tried a new TV yet. Since thats all I havent tried let me do that, if no joy then I'll make a video. Edit: 4khdr samsung to 1080 no hdr Sony as well as diff HDMI cord...same issue. It does this along the entire line more often than not. Inside does it too with flickering knobs and screens. Most locos have this exterior glitch except for the (that ive noticed) Ice, f7, and crr sd40. Thanks for the video, i've pased it on to the team to get into our bug database - not sure when it will get looked at but it's now recorded. Definitely z-fighting with the decals that build the livery from the looks of it.
Matt, just tried the Class 337/4 on service 2G22 on East Coastway and there are still text issues in cab on the following Doors Open, SDO release, DRA Pull - Reset, the carriage number indicator and the white line on one of the wiper controls. The text flickers when the cab is in motion. The class 377/4 on London Commuter also has this intermittent flickering of text when in motion (interesting when stopped things are stable) and also on the Monitor Changeover Switch. Other cabs seems fine. Eg just tried a class 101. struggling to post video here. Do you have another way to send?
Started this thread some time ago: PC - Blurred Textures | Dovetail Games Forums Seems to be the same issue?! The fix posted by fanta did the trick for me, however, it only works on PC and has some major impact on your frames, as the game simply always loads all textures...
I just get blurred decals on signs and sometimes the headlights on some trains turn into the low poly version but i dont get flickering anymore . Xbox one s
This link should show the texture glitching on the text of the "Doors Open" and "SDO Release" buttons/lights both to the left and the right of the driver. Taken on Series S. This is much worse on the ACS-64 concerning the ATC/ACSES in-cab display, I'll try to get a video of that as well.
That looks like the z-fighting matt described. That is different from the old texture glitch that basically reset the resolution of the train every few miles and drove everyone nuts.
